1.Aluminium Foil Container Description:

Foil made from a thin leaf of tin was commercially available before its aluminium counterpart. Tin foil was marketed commercially from the late nineteenth into the early twentieth century. The term "tin foil" survives in the English language as a term for the newer aluminium foil. Tin foil is less malleablethan aluminium foil and tends to give a slight tin taste to food wrapped in it. Tin foil has been supplanted by aluminium and other materials for wrapping food.

Q: I want to coat aluminum tubing in carbon fiberI have read that carbon fiber and aluminum react causing galvanic corrosionIs this a non-issue since the aluminum is bonded directly to the carbon so there is no gap for electrolyte seepage?I have read both yes and no on other sites so please let me know how you know the answer.
nothing works that fast far as i know
Q: aDetermine the oxidation numbers of each element in both the reactants and products of this oxidation-reduction reaction of aluminumbWhich element is oxidized, or loses electrons, in this reaction? cWhich element is reduced, or gains electrons, in this reaction? cant figure out, please explain!
Unless you have a specific reason for aluminum, the steel is betterIt is more rigid, and supplies more support to the hoof wallThe aluminum bends if the horse steps on something, stressing the hoof wall I used them for an OTTB who had weak, shelly hooves in frontHe threw shoes like second graders throw spitballsand when a steel shoe would come off, so would half his hoof wallI switched to aluminum; the smaller nails stressed the hoof less, and the light weight put less stress on the nailsHe still threw the shoes, but his hoof wall stayed intact - a great improvementI evented and hunter paced this horse in these shoesThey wore pretty well, and I had them reset many timesI din't use the racing plates (even lighter and thinner), but got regular shoes made from aluminumHowever, unless you have a similar hoof problem, I'd stick with steel Edit: they're more expensive because aluminum costs more, and he can't buy them in bulk because fewer people use themThey're also harder to put on properly, because the aluminum nails bend really easilyThey can be harder to shape, again because they bend easily and if you're used to bending steel, you have to develop the touch for it.
Q: i have a 3.5 ton a/c unit (the out side part) i want to break it down and recycle it in order to get the most out of it i know theres some copper and aluminium in it so my question isthe fins (i am taling about the out side part that bends easy if you push on it) are aluminium right? the tubes that run thru the quot;finsquot; are copper right? how do i seperate the copper tubes fom the aluminium fins?
Usually, you don't have to strip all the thin aluminum fins off the copper tubes, all you need to do is optionally remove any steel end plates (where the copper tubes make the U turns)If they are steel, and you leave them on, they will call it dirty fins and you will get less moneyIf you want to remove them so you get paid more for clean fins You can take a metal chisel that is sharpened one side, or an OLD wood chisel (you don't care about) and you can go right down both ends and cut off the U turns and then the steel end plates will knock right offIf the end plates are aluminum, you don't need to remove themSave the copper snippets you cut off separate you'll get the 2 copper price for thoseNote that sometimes there is a little oil from the compressor in these tubes so when you cut the ends off it will come out, so you might want to throw some scrap cardboard down first and have a couple paper towels handy when you do thisAlso note that the the terms I used are what my local junkyard calls it, they might have different terms for it at yoursAlso save the various connecting tubes between the compressor, evaporator and condensor, usually these are all copperThe Schrader valves (where gas is put in or pressure tests, AN fitting nuts and any pressure-operated valves in the gas lines are usually brass, so they need to be cut off separateYou don't need to be real careful cutting these apart, they don't mind if there is a little copper in with the brass, but make sure there is no brass in with the copperFor pressure operated freon valves, the diaphragm part is usually steel and unscrews from the brass partThe in-line gas driers/filters (anurizm-like bulges in the tubing), these are sometimes copper sometimes painted or copper-plated steel, so check with a magnet firstIf copper, they need to be cut open and the molecular sieves (round beads) dumped out and brass or steel filter pulled out.
Q: The cutting part of my can opener - a disc looking think - has gunk built up on it, and its so dried out and tough I can't even scrape if off with a toothpick! Gross! How do I get it off there without damaging the can opener?
What you need to buy is Steel, Carben SteelYou want a sword? go for 1055 carbon steel or 1065 carbon steel, 1065 is what i useYou need a Grinder to grind the metal down, and to sharpen it, you need wood for a handle so you should drill holes into the tang of the sword and bolt it inthis is a very simplistic sword, hell you might even call it a machete, If you need help Just comment on my post, ill respond.
Q: i dont knowhelpim thinking about getting the vapor melt GT premium pack with interior upgrade package and mobile ease hands free phone optionall this will cost $28,070what do you think ?help me out
You should set your oven for 375 and cook it for 20-30 minsThe chicken must reach a temperature of 165 F before being safe to eatWhen you poke fully cooked chicken with a fork, clear juices will come outI recommend that you cook the onion and garlic powder in butter or oil on the pan until the onion is golden, then put the baked chicken on and allow it to absorb the flavor, while sprinkling on the other spicesCook the sauce on the sideThen, get some toasted bread, put the chicken on top, sauce on top of the chicken, and mozzerella on thatVoila!
Q: Can you think of any better materiel than Mylar?Any better materiel than bamboo cut to 2' X 1/4quot; strips for balloon battens?I'M DESIGNING A SUSTAINABLE HYBRID AIRCRAFT ONLINEWANT TO HELP?
It's viable you bought a moment dangerous starter, or your vehicle fried the starter whilst you grew to become the important thingYou will have to determine the voltage the starter is receiving, determine if it is not seized.
Q: In Gustav the back window of my car blew out and I got some water in my carIs there anything I can spray to prevent mold growth or kill what may have already grown without damaging the seats or anything?
Back in the days before baking paper was made, we did everything on aluminum foilHope that helps.
Q: Who was the scientist who invented frozen foods?
yes you can it will be much faster than frying in a pan so you have to watch it because in about 30 to 45 seconds it will be done'
Q: i am in the middle of making no bake cookies and i have no wax paper.omg what do i do i need an answer quick they are almost done!!!!
Yes it makes a differenceCoolant is specific to a type of metal in the engine and cooling systemYou can't use the same coolant in an old iron block engine as you do in a new aluminum engine blockAlso the radiators are changing and some of them need specific types of coolant to work properlyMostly it has to do with what additives are in the coolant but bad things can happen if you use the wrong coolant.
Q: Okay so, my mom went to work this afternoon and she told me to cook this chicken she got at the store for supperShe told me to put it in a pan, put some alluminum foil on it and bake itThats basically what I didI lined the pan with aluminum foil, put a little water in it and put some foil over itIts supposed to be lightly marinated, although it doesn't look like it isWill it be okay? Like, in taste and everything? I also heated the oven to 400, because it was really frozen, instead of 375Will it make much of a difference? About 10 minutes ago, I took the foil off, because it didn't look like it was cookingIts been in there for about 30 minutes, the package said 50-60 minutesI'm just wondering if its gonna be okayI'm really stressed because I'm 15, haven't cooked dinner before, and am babysitting 3 kidsPlease, quick answers!
You put a frozen chicken in the oven? Whole chicken, chicken parts, chicken casserole?? The question is a little confusing because if it frozen and a whole chicken it will take longer than 50-60 mins to cookTake the foil off the chicken and if you have any italian salad dressing you can pour some on the chicken while its cooking, BUT if it a casserole DO NOT add the salad dressing to itAlso turn the oven down to 350 degrees and finish cooking at that temperatureThere is no need to stress about it if it takes longer give the kids a snack and feed them dinner when its done cookingRotate the pan by turning it around in the oven and the almost cooked pieces will cook fasterhope this helps.good luck and enjoy.
