Q: the gun works great...until i go to elevate the last shell into the chamber, the plastic cup that seats against the crimps of the shell sticks just enough into the tube to not fully push the shell out and onto the elevator, the spring feels a bit week also, are these springs known for wearing out and are they replaceable? looks like the shell tube has large threads that screw into the receiver but ill be damned if i cant get that thing to twist and unscrew!
The tube will unscrew, but not easily the first time it comes off. When the mag springs in our department Mossbergs get tired, we replace them with Remington 870 mag springs and they seem to hold up better. Field strip the shotgun. Put the end of the mag tube in a vise and clamp down ONLY on the little rectangle on the end of the tube (NEVER on the tube itself). Insert the wooden handle.of your hammer into the receiver as close to the barrel mount as you can. Evenly as possible rotate counterclockwise. Remember, it's not going to come off easily. When it lets go, remove the tube, the follower and the spring. Do not try to just stretch out the spring a little. It won't work. Replace the spring and put the follower back in. put the tube back on the receiver. I find it easier to push the follower into the tube a little until you get the threads started. be careful not to crossthread. tighten it up the same way you took it off.

Q: I can never remeber this things name please help! It is a little plastic piece for the tubing.... gt;.lt;
no return valve is what you're looking for.
Q: remove it. Unfortunately I had to cut it off. I pushed the pastic in as far as I could but it didnt go all the way down. Now my dipstick cant be reinstalled and also if I do ever push the plastic down, will that affect the motor? I heard that there is a screen that will prevent any objects (plastic tube) from getting into engine.
Good job. Hope trying to save a few bucks and doing it the lazy mans way has taught you a lesson. I'd be surprised if it did though. You can either push it all the way down into the pan or remove the dipstick tube from the block and get it out of there. I would have someone who knows what they are doing do it for you or chances are good you'll be back here asking another question.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing liquids?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing liquids.
Q: where can i find empty plastic candy tubes for sand candy?
NO NO NO NO NO That is very dangerous. A baby can choke on even a corner of the bag if they get it caught in their throat and it would be very hard to get it out. Never let a baby play with plastic bags or pieces of plastic wrappings. It is too dangerous, no matter what the size of it is.
Q: I'm doing a little DIY project, and I'm in a small dilemma. I plan to drill a hole into a plastic bottle cap (like the ones on 2-liter bottles), and stick some vinyl tubing through it. I need an adhesive to glue the two parts together, but it also has to be strong, waterproof, and airtight. What would you recommend?
gluing plastics is had enough but two different kinds? I would sand both to rough the surface and use silicone
Q: I'm building a science project with my little sister, and we quite frankly need some help. The plan is to make a little rollercoaster out of plastic tubing as the track. It's kind of thick, so it doesn't bend very well. We've been straightening it out for a couple days, but it's still slightly wavy. We need to get it into a solid position. The plan is to support it on some boxes, and maybe tape it down so it holds it's form.But, there is a part in the rollercoaster where it needs to be extremely straight. Any ideas??
Heat it where you want the bend. If it is small tubing and depending on what it is made of, place where you want the bend to be in boiling water, take it out, bend it to shape and hold it there until it cools. If it is of a better material or thicker, wrap it with aluminum foil and hold it over a candle, but beware that it will get very hot and may start to melt. P.S. After reading again, you want to straighten it, so you will need to heat it and then roll it back and forth slowly until it cools.
Q: I have a winter white hamster, and he always sleeps in his plastic tubes.Should i be worried? Im afraid ther is not enough air flow......Well? Should i be worried? Additional Details?
Don't worry. As long as he comes out, you know there must be enough air in his tubes. But seriously don't worry. He probabLy just hasn't found that nesting place yet, he will find one within the next couple weeks. And maybe it's a comforting place for him, a place where he feels safe. But if you want him to come out more often, try giving him some treats. Basically, use treats as a sign that he can feel safe outside the tube too. Hope this helps!
