Q: I have forgotten the name of the breed altough i know it starts with sy. I just want to know if they can fit in a tube cage or will they get stuck? And what is the best breed to get if you do have a tube cage?
Syrian hamsters, the larger breed of hamster, can outgrow the tubes and get stuck. Dwarf hamsters are better suited for those types of cages. If you're interested in a syrian hamster, a large, basic wire cage is probably a good idea. A bin cage is also a good cage to have for hamsters.
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to mold and mildew?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to mold and mildew.
Q: I know there are two kinds of plastic pipes: thermoplastic pipe and thermosetting plastic pipe. PPR what kind of plastic pipes do you have?
There was no poison, and the plasticizer was the problem. (heat can melt. It's thermoplastic, that is, plasticizers)
Q: How do you prevent plastic tubes from yellowing over time?
To prevent plastic tubes from yellowing over time, it is important to store them in a cool and dark place, away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Additionally, avoid exposing the tubes to harsh chemicals or cleaning agents that can cause discoloration. Regularly cleaning the tubes with mild soap and water and gently wiping them dry can help maintain their clarity.
Q: I've seen these plastic things that you put on the toothpaste tube and you slide it up and you're able to get all the toothpaste out. Does anyone know what the names of these things are, I would like to purchase some. Thanks
No, but they are in stores by the dental products.
Q: Can someone tell me what that plastic elbow tube is called on the backside of my heater coil? VW Golf 2000.?
Plastic elbow, on the metal heater core itself? Probably there would be two of them. Water in and water out. On the plastic box the heater core goes in? Just the one on the box. That would be a cavity water drain to keep it dry in there and cut down on Mold/Mildew. Heater CORE in the USA. ASE Cert Auto Tech, since 1978, 2003 GLI
Q: How many kinds of plastic pipe material are there?
Thermosetting plastic pipes: unsaturated polyester, glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe, epoxy resin, glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe and sand inclusion pipe.
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to staining from food dyes?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to staining from food dyes.
Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in plumbing applications?
There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in plumbing applications. Firstly, plastic tubes are lightweight and easy to handle, making them convenient for installation and transportation. Additionally, they are resistant to corrosion, which ensures a longer lifespan compared to traditional metal pipes. Plastic tubes also have a smooth interior surface, reducing the risk of clogs and improving water flow. Furthermore, they are cost-effective, as plastic materials are generally cheaper than metal alternatives. Lastly, plastic tubes are highly versatile, as they can be easily molded into various shapes and sizes to fit specific plumbing needs.
Q: We currently use round bottom glass test tubes on our automation but suffer a large dead volume. We are looking to find a supplier of low dead volume glass/plastic test tubes to trial
That's an unusual question. MANY years ago (50 or so) when we used to run a lot of pregnancy tests by utilizing Leopard Frogs, we used to use V-bottomed test tubes to spin down the sediment. Frankly, that's pretty much the only example I can remember where we used them. But I would think that they are still around. I would suggest you contact a laboratory supply house or two or three, and ask them. They are much more likely to be able to give you an answer than us geeks on the Yahoo medicine board. The stuff I used 50 years ago might not be around anymore.
