- Check online or in the yellow pages of the phone book for a class company. They're able to get glass of many thicknesses and can also bevel or grind the edges. They'll install it for you, too.
- Q: so you know those boxed sink w/ vanitie that the OKorders and Home depot sells. Most of the standard ones are either white or a light oak. Has anyone ever painted or stained the oak one a different color to match their bathroom a little better. Like a darker cherry vs. the light oak that you buy it as ?Was wondering if this could be done, or a good idea, would I have to prime it first, I mean it is wood, it should be able to absorb and accept a good quality wood stain, right ?

- Q: So a little help on how to disconnect pipes and whatnot
- Fun stuff... I just remodled my bathroom last year. The pipe traps under your sink just need to be unscrewed from the wall... plug that pipe with a rag so sewer gas doesn't come in. Since you want to remove the whole thing, sink and all... just look under the sink and typically if it's marble or something... there will be some retaining clips holding the sink or top to the wood cabinet below... knock those loose and the top comes right off. After that it's just a job for a prybar and hammer. Those things come apart real easy.
- Q: In my master bathroom (attached to master bedroom) I have vanity lights (only lighting in the bathroom), a fan, and one outlet. The fan and the vanity lights are separate units. Last night, there was a thunderstorm and lightning, but given the circumstances, I dont think its causing my problem. Last night, I turned off my lights and fan, and when I attempted to turn them on again, they did not work. The outlet, which I believe would be connected to the same power source as the lights and fan, does work. I attempted to switch all the circuit breakers on and off to no avail. FYI the circuit breaker is for the entire master bedroom, or at least labeled as so; so I would assume it encompasses the master bathroom as well. My guess would be it should be related to the switch, since it is related only to the lights and fan, and not the sole outlet. Can anybody else think of any other possibilities or suggestions what to do?
- Could be connected to GFCI (ground-fault outlet) in outlet box. If so need to press reset button.

- You may want to shop this more. Get a feel for what's available. Typical sink vanity's come in 24' to 48'. Other than those sizes, you most likely would have to get one customized. Since you are remodeling the bathroom, perhaps you can use a 42' vanity. I have found that the vanity's that come with a sink and faucet are cheaply made. It is better to purchase the cabinet, sink and faucet separately.. When choosing the sink and faucet, keep in mind what kind of towel holders and switch plates, toilet paper holder, etc that you want. Make sure everything flows together.
