- Q: Buy a bathroom cabinet when the marble countertops split a normal pattern of it?

- Q: why is there an extra wire coming off the bathroom vanity than there is coming out of my wall?
- If this is a vanity light fixture,it is a ground wire. Newer wiring has 3 wires- a hot wire to supply electricity,a neutral wire to complete the electrical circuit and a ground wire for safety reasons. Older homes had 2 wires and the plugs could be inserted either way. The the polarized plug was introduced,which meant that a plug could be inserted only 1 way (1 prong is bigger than the other). Updated building codes are now requiring the newer 3 prong outlets,but the polarized plugs will still work in them.
- Q: Is the bathroom cabinet good for oak or solid wood?
- Malaysian oak teeth puzzle, moisture, so as not to deform. Solid wood is easy to deform.
- Q: vanity is 60 inches long.....if I hang one mirror how wide or if I hang two how wide....is their some kind of decorators rule. I am thinking about oval mirrors.Thanks in advance
- How many basins? Decorators rule is, do what you want! If the room is narrow, adding a full length mirror will make it bigger. One basin, only one mirror required, Two basins, two mirrors. Put a string of lights above the mirror/s for application of makeup and shaving. GL>
- Q: In my master bathroom (attached to master bedroom) I have vanity lights (only lighting in the bathroom), a fan, and one outlet. The fan and the vanity lights are separate units. Last night, there was a thunderstorm and lightning, but given the circumstances, I dont think its causing my problem. Last night, I turned off my lights and fan, and when I attempted to turn them on again, they did not work. The outlet, which I believe would be connected to the same power source as the lights and fan, does work. I attempted to switch all the circuit breakers on and off to no avail. FYI the circuit breaker is for the entire master bedroom, or at least labeled as so; so I would assume it encompasses the master bathroom as well. My guess would be it should be related to the switch, since it is related only to the lights and fan, and not the sole outlet. Can anybody else think of any other possibilities or suggestions what to do?
- Lack of electricity. No really try the GFI reset ,hopefully that will work. Also try switching the breaker switch to Off and then flip it back to ON again. Sometimes that works.

- Q: I was taking off a bathroom vanity light and the wires came undone.Usually, it is just a black to black, a white to white and a ground to hook up the light...but when I looked at the wires...There is a white wire coming out of the wall above the sink where I am going to put it ing out of the white wire istwo black wires caped together.two white wires caped together and one red wire caped by itself.When I hook the black and white wires on the light to the black and white wires on the wall...the light turns on, but then the wall switch will not turn off.Does anyone know how to wire this light with this wire configuration?
- Your vigour wire may have a black, white and inexperienced wire. Join the white wire to the lights' white wires. Do the identical with the ground (inexperienced) wires. Join your lights' black wires together and to one part of the change. Connect your vigor black wire to the opposite swap connector. Black is the sizzling wire that you want to change on and off. Make sure you dispose of the fuse so no vigor is to the principal vigor wires.
- Q: Im thinking of getting a vanity basket with ladies accessories and putting it in the receptions venues bathroom for the guests, I.e. hairspray, hair clips, tampons, body spray, lotion etc.My fiancé thinks drunk guests will end up stealing the stuff so not to bother. Should I get one?
- Forgetting about drunk guests.... I am an adult. I do not need anything that I cannot and do not supply for myself. I have never, in my life, been anywhere where I wished I had hairspray or a hair clip. I leave my home with deodorant, body lotion and tampon in place. Supply a wonderful pump soap that is irresistibly scented and perhaps a matching lotion. That's it. Bath and Body works have great duos.
