Q2: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q3: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.

Q: I'm 15 and I'm trying to persuade my dad to get me a laptop, any ideas? or is a laptop at my age worth it?
I'm almost 15 (will be on the 19th) and really want a laptop too. It's totally worth it because it will last for a long period of time - so you can get more use out of it as you go along. Also it's great for doing hw so you can have it all in one place - this way if you have to do a group project or something you can always have your work with you and not have to worry about getting a flash drive (which are easy to lose).
Q: i really NEED a laptop.
To get a laptop for less than $200 look for used-computer stores (college towns have these) and also ask at computer-repair shops. You did not say what city you live in, if you don't live in a large city or metropolitan area, find the nearest really-large city and check its newspaper's web site for computer-repair-store advertising. You want to inspect the laptop and ask questions before you purchase it, so don't buy one off the Internet from who-ever unless you can visit them to inspect the laptop. You want to make sure the laptop comes with an Operating System already installed, usually it will be Windows, and comes with the manufacturer's restore disks. Repair shops often take parts from several failed laptops to build a working laptop, and the resulting laptop will probably not have Windows installed on it, or it might be a not-legal install of Windows. One problem with used laptops is the battery is old, if the battery is more than three years old it won't last more than another one or two years and you will have to replace it. One reason used laptops at used-computer stores or computer-repair-shotp are surprisingly expensive is that the laptop battery has been replaced. Those batteries are expensive, more than $100.
Q: How should I protect my laptop monitor and component so that they will last longer? Is it okay to use a laptop more than 3 hours?
Of course it's OK to use a laptop for more than 3 hours. Who said that it wasn't? Does it say that in your user manual? I think not. Apparently all of the superstitious laptop owners come on Yahoo! Answers at 9PM (GMT-5). I use my work laptop constantly and my personal laptop almost as much. Neither has had any problems related to nearly constant use. All you have to do is make sure that you don't block the ventilation holes in the side or bottom of the laptop so that it doesn't overheat, and you're good to go. Basically, don't lay a laptop on a soft object like a bed or a couch or you'll risk thermal damage to the laptop. As long as you keep it on a hard surface like a table top, your laptop will last for years.

Q: i bought a dell laptop but have heard some negatives about dell.
Dell Good laptops , not good service. Hp Alright for Browsing , Alright for gaming. Emachines Just ****. Apple Who even cares about mr Mac? Compaq Alright for Browsing , Alright for gaming Toshiba Actually really good , Kinda Pricy tho No Laptops are good for Gaming Exept the 1500+ Ones.
Q: i need a laptop but i barely have any money does anybody know any really cheap laptops i can get not those netbooks i want a laptop ok.
To get cheap laptop you need to: a) Have a budget. b) Get a laptop with a standard screen size (15 inch) c) Focus on processor speed rather than RAM d) Avoid buying a gaming laptop e) Shop for faster hard drive instead of bigger hard drive (7200RPM is decent) f) Avoid buying lighter laptop, if you do not travel frequently with your laptop g) Relax and do not rush when you are buying a laptop.
Q: Ahhhm Which is more durable Laptop Brands: Samsung or Asus
its obvious Samsung is much better
Q: i know we can upgrade ram but are vga upgradeable on laptop?
No, not enough room. The graphics cards are specially engineered.
Q: basicly i can get the ipod to do almost anything a laptop can do
Laptop, because it can do more(I think).Unless you prefer having a portable semi-laptop.Which one would be of more convenience to you?
Q: are alienware laptops good gaming
Alienware has been around making Laptops for gaming for awhile now and always been good at it, combining the best components that current time has to offer. They have not always been known for best customer service though. but you are dealing with hot head gamers who want what they want right now and have spent alot of money! In my experience i've had good customer care and bad. Leaning towards bad and i wont buy another laptop from them directly again maybe used but never will i pay $3400+ for that overseas type customer service. I don't think you can build a laptop on your own as good as what they produce for the cost.but definitely never would i pay for the desktops they sell at those prices.you can build your own for half literally. They brand is very expensive but considering its competition their resale or worth has held up better than any. They are an upgradeable laptop beyond just the ram. They will bring you to the top of laptop gaming has to offer, if your willing to pay.but beware you will not be there long, such is the bummer we all know when comes to out of date components. But who knows maybe the new M17x will hang for awhileits hardware seems to be setting the pace and will lastwho knows whats next i dont see any programs that tax the system beyond its capabilities yet. maybe some crazy CAD programs but even those programmers use Alienware. Id say Alienware makes a good gaming laptop.
