In the purchase of product within three working days, We will arrange the factory delivery as soon as possible. The perfect time of receiving is related to the state and position of customers. Commonly 7 to 10 working days can be served.

Q: Where can I find good instructions to build a cheap solar panel on my own?
To build an effective but cheap solar panel, you need some expert advice. I recommend you get your hands on the comprehensive e-book and video instructions by Michael Harvey. His guide is very easy to follow and it will help you make a complete solar power system for less than $200. He also teaches how to make windmills. I hope this helps!
Q: We are considering getting solar panels for our home just south of Birmingham, AL. We know a little and are trying to educate ourselves the best we can. But we are having a hard time finding anyone around this area. We have done the yellow page thing, and some quot;green places around town. But to no luck.....
Any electrical contractor could likely install them, and there are several Internet businesses that sell solar panels. You likely have no place there to get the kind of large panels you need for a house. Look at your local regulations. Your utility may not allow grid-tie, so you may have to set up an off-grid system with batteries and use separate wiring or a transfer switch. One thing a lot of people neglect is hail protection. In Birmingham, you're likely to have large hail (larger than golf ball size) every couple of years in the spring. You need to work out a way of covering them in advance of severe weather. Most panels will take up to golf-ball size hail with no problem. DK PS, I've done this myself, and have considerably more information. Email if you're interested.
Q: Do solar panels float?
With the Oceans rising as fast as they are, I hope so. LOL
Q: I have a small marine solar panel on my boat It came with the boat. I want to make sure it is working before I connect it. With a volt meter It is only reading .2 volts dc. I would think it should be 2-5 volts?
Mark, the 2 vdc is pretty typical. Most panels for home use are set up to charge 2 volt batteries, and they are wired for an, open circuit voltage of 8 to 9 volts. This allows it to have enough voltage to feed through a few diodes, perhaps a charge controller and 30 or 40 feet of wire and still have at least 5 volts left over. Once you connect it to the battery the panel will drop to whatever the batteries charging curve voltage would be. If you have a few minutes, I would suggest getting a book at the library called, The Complete Battery Book, by Richard Perez. Just read the chapters pertaining to lead acid batteries, the other discussions on lithium, ni cads and such won't apply to your boat system. If your panel is not large, and it's short circuit current rating in amps is less than 2% of the amp hour capacity of the battery, you can even run the panel without a charge controller. The book explains this as well. There is a great magazine that gets into the nuts and bolts of this stuff, it's called Home Power, you can find it online. You might also find some info at a couple renewable energy websites, I will list them below. Panels are rated in two ways, open circuit voltage, which you measure with a multimeter while the panel is in open sun and nothing is connected to it. The other rating is short cirucuit current, which you measure with an ammeter while the panel is in the sun as well. You connect the ammeter across the output of the panel and let all the power short right through the meter, so you'll need an ammeter big enough to handle more amps than the panel puts out. A 0 amp unit will work for your boat panel. These tests won't hurt the panel, or the meters, we do it all the time in the field, and the manufacturers will tell you to do the same test if you have a problem with a panel and they want to know if it's malfunctioning. You can check one of their websites if you like. Good luck Mark, and take care, Rudydoo
Q: Can solar panels be used in disaster relief efforts?
Yes, solar panels can be used in disaster relief efforts. They provide a sustainable and reliable source of electricity, which is crucial during emergencies when power grids may be down. Solar panels can be deployed quickly and easily, enabling the provision of essential services such as lighting, communication, and medical equipment in affected areas. Moreover, solar energy is renewable and environmentally friendly, reducing dependency on fossil fuels and minimizing the impact on already vulnerable communities.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on a fire station or emergency services building?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a fire station or emergency services building. In fact, many fire stations and emergency services buildings have embraced solar energy as a sustainable and cost-effective solution. Solar panels can help these facilities generate their own electricity, reduce utility bills, and lower their carbon footprint. Additionally, the availability of rooftop space on such buildings often makes them suitable for solar panel installation.
Q: I need help?!!
It needs some battery banks in order to store the energy that will be useful during nighttime if less energy is stored in the batteries due to poor weather condition the effectivity of it is minimized. It has some limitations like you need more batteries in parralell to store more energy from solar cells, and it needs to be fully recharge the next day after it is discharged at night.
Q: Polycrystalline solar panels are good or single crystal solar energy is good
Pre-monocrystalline silicon solar cell photoelectric conversion efficiency of about 15%, the highest reached 24%, which is all types of solar cells in the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the highest, but the production cost is so large that it can not be a large number of extensive And commonly used.
Q: I am thinking of buying a 3w solar panel called the nomad 3 from goal zero. I want to charge 35Wh lithum batteries. I have heard that lithium batteries are temperatmental and without a regulated current things could get ugly.I have a couple of chargers that came with the batteries. One is a 2v car charger and another is 0-240v wall charger.Goal zero sell something called a sherpa 50, which contains rechargeable batteries and an inverster and I think they suggest that I charge my batteries indirectly through the Sherpa 50, however, the sherpa 50 is expensive at $200, and seems to have a small capacity, in addition to being extra weight that i don`t want to carry.Electronics geniuses, you are my only hope.
If you want to energy each USB ports on the identical times, It could not be possibble. Your sun panel best provides 2.24 Watts (20V * 0.2A) of energy and you ought to deliver 2.5 Watts (5V * 0.5A) to the ports. Subtracting any losses out of your regulator(s), you are going to be method over your vigor finances. You'll want extra of a sun panel or less of a load.
Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of noise from transportation?
Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of noise from transportation. Noise pollution does not directly affect the functionality of solar panels as they primarily rely on sunlight to generate electricity. However, it is important to ensure that the installation of solar panels is done properly to avoid any physical damage caused by vibrations or other factors associated with transportation noise.
