- Bleach can only do so much.the problem is, too much soaking in bleach can actually destroy the fibers of the materialOnce it has been bleached and the stain did not come out, it is set inMy advice.either dye the blanket a new color (liquid cloth dyes work best) or use sharpies to turn your stain into an original work of art!
