Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee v8 4.7L it has a stuck valve making knocking noises my question is can i still drive it !? or is too dangerous
its only really dangerous to the engine , but possibly you if it quits at a dangerous location this sounds more like something else than a ''stuck'' valve . and personally i would not trust it until you take a further look into the engine and remove a valve cover to see what is causing the problem .
Q:Can anyone recommend valve manufacturers who make a good electric high temperature valve. The temperature that I am looking at is 1600 F at 100 psi. It should be electric magnetism controled. Is there anybody know what is the highest temperature the valve can bear in the world?
google 'inconnel valve' look for foundry equipment suppliers Can you valve the gas away from whatever is hot, or is your gas at 1600 F and 100 PSI ? If so, what are you using for piping ?
Q:Com wires attached to com and all individual valve wires are attached. The valves work manually( turn on by hand), I open the valve to allow the box to take over and the sprinklers run. Is this just residual water in the lines??
I would test the leads inside the control box first... You will have to run the controls manually to troubleshoot the problem. Get a voltage meter to test for the 24 volts at the transformer connections inside the box... If you do not have the 24 volts then the problem will be the transformer. If you have the correct voltage from the transformer then you can test each of the station terminals to common. Test through each station to see if you have 24 volts at each station terminal, but you may have to remove the wires off to test. If you do not have power coming from each station… then the problem will be the rain bird control. The next step would be testing the wires… If you reconnect the wires… test just prior at each valve location to see if you have the 24 volts between the common and each station wire… if you can prove out that there is 24 volts at this location then you’re down to the final testing. Reconnect the valves – one side to the common and the other to each station wire… Getting the power (24v) to the valve should have cleared your problem. Good Luck… Running the valves manually will not affect the operation of the rainbird control... but with my rainbird valves.. you can shut off the valves completely and disable the electrical controls of the valve... make sure that you have not closed the valve off manually preventing the electrical side... a problem with rainbird controls. This does not have anything to do with residual water in the lines... I would test this side first before you get into the electrical side... could save you a lot of time.
Q:Hey, ive got a scooby and have a baileys dump valve that is a loud deep wooooosh sorta sound. What dump valve does the more high pitch sound? also they dump valve with the higher pitch seems to need less presure ta dump, mine needs alot of pressure before it will dump loud?
if i remember rite you can adjust the control settings for your dump valve so that it will dump at a lower pressure and a lower pressure dump should also give you the sound that you are looking for.
Q:Are they referring to the nozzle orifice or are they talking about the diameter of the nozzle? Does it mean the inner diameter of the valve like in a globe valve?
Can't improve on what you have except to say: If you don't ask for a full port valve; you will get an internal diameter smaller than the ID of the piping.
Q:The time has come to re shim my 06 450, and I am having a small problem (I think anyway). The exhaust valves have decreased to below the required spec and need to be replaced with thinner shims (as is usually the case), but the left intake valve has for some reason increased its valve clearance (from 0.16mm to 0.23mm). Is it normal for the valve clearance to increase? I thought they would only decrease... Any ideas? Unless the valve is being held open by something. Many thanks, Jim
not really normal as i ahve a honda 450 r quad and the valves need ajusted all the time but possibly something was in your fuel such as sand ar dust or any thing that shouldnt be running in your gas
Q:My 99 accord has been smoking bluish white smoke out of the exhaust only at high RPMS- 5000 and up, but NOT at lower RPMS. Obviously I rarely go that high, but I've feared the worst. I've checked the coolant, its green without contamination. today a mechanic discovered that someone installed the wrong pcv valve on the car- the one that belongs on the v6 model, and that it is somehow larger. the mechanic suggested it was possible that this was the cause of the smoke- the oil was getting into the intake manfold, and into the cat, and that when the engine is at higher rpms, and the gases/ heat increase, it burns up the oil in the manifold/cat. He said IF that is the cause it should clear up in a week or so. Does this sound to good to be true? or is it possible? the car does have 160,000 on it, but i've owned several hondas with much more mileage that didn't smoke at all.
is it burning[smoking out the ex.] or the engine comp[on the ex? ] sorry to answ with ? A blow out pcv could suck raw oil into combustion but would probably cause rough performance . slobbering injector would dilute oil in cylinder, and would smoke especially on acell.
Q:Hi all,My 1995 nissan altima (122k on the odometer) stalled for a few minutes this morning. I noticed that one of the sparkplug holes ( where the cable from the distributer connects to the spark plug) is sorrounded by oil. I cleaned it out and it got filled with oil again. luckily for me, and by god's grace it somehow started normally and i drove home. I am sure its the valve gasket. There is not much oil leakage, the oil level is fine.I need to know if its going to damage my engine if I ignored the problem for 3-4days.Thanks.

Q:I am trying to shut off the water valves under my sink to install a new kitchen faucet. The hand knobs appear to be damaged (thin soft metal). In addition, they seem to be seized up pretty well. So I can't shut them off by hand and not sure what I can use to close it off without damaging it further. My initial thought is to replace the valves. Any suggestions?
You don't have to go through all that crap. Get a can of PB Blaster or Deep Creep. (penetrating oils) Both oils far away better than WD-40. Spray the stem of the valves and wait,..... about 20 minutes. if they are still stiff, apply again, wait another 20. Then if its not fine and ready to go, THEN go through the hassle...
Q:Is there any application usuage of ball valve in comparison, most engineers opinion is as Valve size get reduces in reduced port.Other than this what paramteres decides in selection of either of one
