- Q:We live in a four story sixteen unity apartment building. There are two radiators in our apartment. The on in the living room is large and we can't turn it on with out water coming out of the little valve on the end, which I am assuming is there to release excess pressure. It doesn't matter if we leave it on for an hour or two days—water still comes out. It has warped the wood below it.How can I stop this? I would really like to have heat on both sides of my apartment.Thanks!
- The little valve needs to be changed with a new one,that valve has a small leather inside and it is to spit out water and air until the leather gets wet ,and then stops, then when the leather gets dried out ,it will do the same thing again and again, This is a auto radiator air bleeding type valve used for many years in radiator heating systems................Ok.......Mel........ - Q:Long story short, have a 2001 acura tl had a rough idle/ no start issue. figured out by disconnecting vaccuum from the throttle body the idle was fine with the TB pulling air through the disconnected hose port. The hose i disconnected leads to the purge valve solenoid. I removed it and it is closed (no air flow), restarted car with hose disconnected and solenoid still harnessed in (still closed). Just need more info on the function of this thing and what it should be doing.. Can i bench test it with +12V and ground on the two pins? Thanks in advance.

- Q:So my engine was back firing and me and my dad adjusted all my valves both sides. Runs better, But it still back fires. What could be the problem? Its a Chevy 350 with a brand new mild cam. 600cc carburetor. And new shorty exhaust headers. However I don't have exhaust pipes on my headers just yet because I gotta get pipes to mesh properly with my exhaust. Could it be air coming back up from the pipes causing it to back fire a bit? Like I said we just adjusted all the valves.

- Q:Im trying to make an apparatus that would allow you to breathe in from one tube and exhale through another is their a valve that does this. I originally thought that a one way valve might work however I cannot find one that works with suction.
- If I get your idea right, you would have two separate one way valves, one in each tube, facing in opposite directions. When you inhale the valve that opens provides air from that tube and the other one remains shut because the suction is pulling it closed. When you exhale, the inhale valve is pushed closed by the air pressure from your lungs and the exhale tube valve opens from the pressure provided by your lungs. Consider spring loaded valves if there are problems with the pause inbetween enough positive and negative air pressure in the tubes.
