Q:I just replaced my motorcycle levers ( both), because I broke my brake lever.Well., after I installed them I noticed the clutch lever is 2inches below the brake lever.My original levers were not like this, anyone know what the problem is? By lower do you mean closer to the handgrip or angled down more toward the ground? For the former - there are a number of different span levers available for different size hands - ( the brake lever you've shown has an adjustment built in to it - that knurled wheel near the pivot) If the latter then loosen the clamp bolts that hold the lever body onto the handlebar rotate the whole assembly to the angle that feels best for you
Q:what should I look for. when I seat on the bike should both my be touching the floor flat
The FACT is when you are stopped on a motorcycle both feet should NOT be on the ground, flat or otherwise. Granted that it looks cooler that way and feels better too. But the MSF will teach you that only one foot should be on the ground. The other should either be tapping the foot brake to blink the light for safety or be on the left peg prepared to put the bike in gear. If you can't put both feet flat on the ground it's fine to be on tip toes, though uncool. Years ago the rear brake light was not activated by the front brake. We were taught to keep flashing the brakelight while stopped at a light. Today we teach to have the bike in neutral with the left foot up on the peg ready to tap it into first to move quickly in case the semi comming up behind you doesnty see you, or to move immediately when the light turns green.

dust from brake shoe wear usually causes the problem if you have a compressor try to blow air around the drum hopefully you can blow some of the dust out if you can,t then you will have to remove them sometimes they would do that mine used to you can remove and rough them up with sandpaper but the noise will come back soon you can replace the shoes with a better quality it usually takes care of it if they are within range (still have adjustment left)and work good they will be ok most of your braking is done with the front anyway

The smartest thing to do is contact the company that produces the chrome rotors and ask them what they prefer you to run on their product.But from experience I can tell you if you only ride a little and the bike is for more show than go then it probably will not matter.However in our group we have seen rust begin to form on the outer edges of the air holes and then proceed to move in a circular rotation when the chrome begins to chip and gets embedded in the brake pad and then it scores the rest of the rotor.Not a big fan of chrome rotors after paying out the money only to have it happen usually on the first or second ride after sitting all winter.

Time for a non-BS answer. The M/C will act like any other ballistic projectile and have a range of V?sin(2Θ)/g where V is the initial velocity and Θ is the ramp angle. This assumes the landing takes place at the same height as the departure from the ramp. Contrary to some opinions voiced above, applying the brakes in flight will have a definite, possibly strong, effect. The angular momentum of the wheels will be transfered to the frame of the machine and it will respond by rotating in a front end down direction more rapidly than its original rate. The center of mass will continue on the same path. The original angular rate is caused by the front wheel leaving the ramp first and beginning its free flight before the rear wheel.
