Q:I've never ridden a motorcycle / driven a manual car, and i've got a few questions. I'm going to take an MSF course before I get my license, so don't be all noob.1) When stopped, is it ok to leave the clutch in and be in 1st gear or must you shift to neutral to not burn out the clutch?2) In an automatic car, I can be at a stop sign in drive with just the brake pushed in. I'm guessing you can't do that with manual in 1st?3) I've heard that when shiftings from N to 1st, you have to let out the clutch slowly, so how slow does this have to be compared to just dropping the clutch?Finally, what can I do to amuse myself before I can get my license? 1. Yes perfectly alright. 2. No, you must either be in neutral or have the clutch engaged 3. Not super slow, you only need to follow that rule when downshifting, and taking off from a dead stop.

Q:hi i am 17, have a motorcycle, and motorcycle temps. with temps you have restrictions of no night riding, no freewaysext. if i were to brake that law and did night riding or freeway riding and got pulled over for w/e reason( lets just say a tern signal or out and not given a ticket for that) will i loose my licence for driving a car? or will i just get a ticket for that? around where i live when u are under age of 18 and u get a ticket or in an accident, you loose you licence for some time. idk if any 1 will know. just a question. and if this will help i live in Ohio
did he point out a cylinder misfire or what? there's no such code: cylinder 6 has failed. the code is in all risk a P0306. which may well be a misfire code, which would be gasoline, air (compression), or a spark appropriate concern. i'm a mechanic and that i could propose you get a 2d opinion! an addition i could get cylinder laek down attempt finished, which brings the cylinder #6 to staggering ineffective middle and seals the valves. the attempt will end if the valves are sealing or inf the piston rings are worn. even have them positioned particularly of oil interior the cylinder the 2d time around to determine in rings are worn.
Q:Should I feel resistance? Does it take much to activate the breaks? I barely touch them and the brakes respond. Is this how it‘s suppose to work?
Remember that motorcycles are not like push bikes. That front break has to stop quite a bit of weight travelling at speed. My bike weights a quarter of a ton, so it has to be good. You'll get used to the sensitivity of it. Don't forget the back break too. In this weather it's a good idea to use both as the wet conditions will reduce grip. If you are concerned, take it to motorcycle garage and ask them to have a look at it.

Q:I used to stop motorcycle by pulling clutch and pressing rear brake. This make rear tyre to slip often, then my friend told me not to pull the clutch and directly press the rear brake and when it stops then pull clutch and downshift the gear. Is this method right? I tried it and really it don‘t allow rear tyre to slip, I am able to stop at over 50kmph without slipping the tyre. But I have question, does this harm engine? I change engine oil in 6000km which is recommended by manufacturer.

I have one fitted on my brake, the range of adjustment is less and doesn’t seat quite as well but it is up to the job.
