I had the camera fully charged, taken a couple of shots and the next time I used it, the change battery pack appeared. When I closed the camera and opened it again, it worked just fine. This has happened every once in a while since then--way before the low battery sign appeared. I've only had this camera for a month so I don't know why it's acting up already.Any answer or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! )
it sounds to me that you have a short circuit, I hope that you have a warranty, I just notice that you have had your camera for more then a month! sorry to say that your camera more then a month, that means that the warranty is expired! this repair will cost money out of pocket. sorry for the bad news! Thanks Bob
I took out the extra battery pack and tried working it with the battery slot inside it. I've fully charged the battery but the camera just won't turn on anymore! Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please Help !
Hey! Jim A. we need a Canon expert here to help!
But works when the regular batteries are used, or works when using the other rechargeable batter pack. Why?
humm. okorder
I took apart a dead Roomba Battery pack to see if I could replace a few cells and found that one of the battery's polarity had switched from negative to positive. I've never seen this. Luckily it was at a very low charge. Do you know how to reverse polarity on a NiMH battery so I can reuse it? Or am I out of luck?
you can't. it's junk
I have a Electromagnet with a 96 volt battery pack. it is actually made up of 80 c cell batteries welded together.how can i recharge the pack without the original charger?????
not easily. if you have a variac, use it with a 6 amp diode in series. the cathode will go to the positive side of the battery pack. slowly turn up the variac til you get a reading of about 96 volts DC on a digital meter across the battery pack. quickly touch the diode case and see if it's very hot - if so turn the variac down. when the diode temp is at ambient, slowly increase the voltage by 1 or 2 volts at a time - checking the temp of the diode. proceed to increase the voltage to about 105 volts DC. another alternative is to get a 240 ohm resistor, at least 50 watts and connect the AC line in series with the 6 amp diode and the 240 ohm resistor. again watch the voltage - when the battery pack has about 105 volts DC across it, it should be almost fully charged.
I have a sprinkler timer in the garage that is both connected to ac and a 9v battery. The 9 volt battery fails a lot. It actually powers the memory of each sprinkler station and run times. When the 9v battery is too weak to power the memory , the entire sprinkler system shuts down and reboots but will not run. How do I rewire the memory unit so that it runs on ac instead. I have an old 9v power pack that puts out 9 volts and 450 mA. Can I safely just connect it to the 9v connectors on my sprinkler timer?
9V BATTERY SOURCE IN THE SYSTEM IS THE BACK UP POWER TO THE SYSTEM MEMORY WHILE AC POWER WAS INTERRUPTED ( LOST ALL AC POWER IN WHOLE HOUSE ) . THIS 9V BATTERY SHOULD NOT CONSUME POWER INTO SYSTEM WHILE AC POWER IS NORMAL. SOME BAD DESIGNED SYSTEM DOES DRAINING OUT THE 9V BATTERY SLOWLY BECAUSE 9V WAS CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE SYSTEM MAIN 9V POWER SOURCE COMING FROM AC CIRCUIT. TO SOLVE THIS TROUBLE IS QUITE SIMPLE, JUST ADDING A BLOCKING DIODE IN BETWEEN BATTERY +9V TERMINAL AND SYSTEM. THIS WAY, 9V BATTERY IS NO MORE DRAINING BY SYSTEM LOAD WHILE AC POWER IS ON , AND 9V BATTERY SHOULD LAST AS LONG AS ITS LIFE. NEVER REPLACE 9V BATTERY WITH ANOTHER 9V POWER SOURCE THAT COMING FROM ANOTHER 9V POWER ADAPTER, DO THAT CAUSING THE SYSTEM IS NO MORE ABLE TO RECOVER WHILE AC POWER IS INTERRUPTED BECAUSE BOTH 9V ARE FAILED.
I bought a wen cordless tool kit about 5 yrs. ago. The tools work great, but the batteries wont hold a charge. Even at wen site I cannot find replacements. I heard they could be repacked? thanks for any help.
Take the drill to Home Depot and ask their Experts They may show you a new drill would be your best and I think it also!
if i put in the 2 AA batteries in the control they turn on. but the battery packs don't want to work. if i connect the charger they work but the charger keeps disconnecting or something cuz while the charger is in the light doesnt turn on unless i push the charger in and hold it. majority of the time the conntroller stays off. the system says the controllers have a 3 out of 4 bar charge but the contollers will still disconnect and stay off. any help would be amazing!
