Description

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide is produced by the smelting of Calcined Bauxite in an electric arc furnace at temperatures greater than 2000°C.  Our BFA is made into different shapes and grit sizes ranging from macro to micro grits and powders. It is a tough, hard material with high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity. 

DDTC’ BFA grains, powders are available in standard grit and powder sizes and they can also be made to individual specifications. Please see below for information about some of our fused aluminum oxide materials.
