Q: What is the car on the R logo?
Two R is it, Rolls Royce
Q: Help deciding longboard wheels?
First, that is really a great old bike, and is in high demand among older bike collectors. You 'll need to drain change the oil, gas, and all fluids, and replace with fresh, check the tires for dry rot cracks (very important) and clean out the jets in the carb. You can drian the brake fluid by opening the small nut (8 or 10mm) at the bottom edge of the brake cylinder on each wheel. Bu tthis isn;t as easy as it sounds and you may want to ask an experienced rider to help you or maybe stop by your Honda dealer and ask the service guys for advice. Most will help you if you ask nicely. Good Luck.
Q: My rear driver‘s side wheel is vibrating on my 2001 Hyundai Sonata. It seems to vibrate worse at highway speeds. the wheel vibrated with my old tire (before it went flat), with the donut, and after 4 new tires and a front end alignment (for an unrelated vibrating issue), it continues to shake the entire vehicle. But I have also noticed that when I go around a left curve, (and turn the wheel to the left), the vibration disappears. When the wheel is straightened back out, the vibration returns. I‘ve heard it could be the wheel itself, but the donut is a completely different wheel that still vibrated. When I take the wheel off and turn the rotor, it doesn‘t spin smoothly, and makes a scraping sound during the revolution (possibly rubbing on the brake pads?). Is this part of my problem? I have had the entire wheel bearing assembly replaced in that wheel within the last 2 years. Any advice on what this could be would be very helpful. Thank you.
It's a left wheel bearing 99.9% of the time in this situation. It goes away when you turn left because when you turn, all the weight of the car is shifted to the outside, in this case the right side. So with no weight on the left wheel bearing it doesn't grind. Probably the front bearing but could be the rear. No way to tell with personally hearing it.
Q: I‘m going to be getting a silent spinner wheel, I thinkShould I get two 4.5 wheels or one 6.5 wheel? I also heard mesh wheels are good for mice because since mice or very fast and agile, they can step on every one of the little bars. I heard that mesh wheels are also good if you have more then one mouse because if the first mouse goes too fast, then the second one can grip the wheel and hold on so she doesn‘t fall off. So should I get a silent spinner or a mesh wheel? If I get the mesh one, I‘ll be getting the 5.75 wheel:)
Hard tires last longer than soft tires, but soft tires produce more traction.
Q: i bought the apec 11 flywheels 76mm 75a do you know if these wheels are good for sliding
those wheels are grippy, but since they have the plastic core, they act more like 78a or 80a. they aren't the best for sliding, but keep in mind, you can slide ANY wheel. i would go with durians, or strikers
Q: Why the car so heavy but can be so easy to use the steering wheel to turn the wheel direction?
It is a very simple thing, no need to ridicule the subject matter.
Q: I‘m thinking of getting a flying saucer wheel for my pet mouse. If you have used these wheels before, are they good wheels? Silent, easy to clean, etc. What size should I get?
its the brake master cylinder
Q: I am getting an 8 board, low or medium trucks, and 50-54 mm wheels. I will be skating mostly street and I need to know wether to get soft or hard wheels and how that is measured. Thanks so much.
Do your own homework and maybe you'll learn something. It's simple math a 12 year old should know.
Q: My parents are buying me a car soon and they say that the car has to be all wheel drive. i live in michigan so during the winters the roads get really bad plus i live on a dirt road which makes it even worse. they feel that the car i get must be an SUV with all wheel drive. is all wheel drive
All-Wheel Drive is okay if you see lots of rain, snow, or dirt roads, but it's not absolutely necessary. For most people, particularly those who live in urban areas, Front-Wheel Drive and Rear-Wheel Drive are a better alternative. They get better gas mileage and have less wear and tear on the drivetrain parts. However, the best choice for you would be a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle. Unlike All-Wheel Drive, 4-Wheel Drive can be disengaged, offers locking or limited-slip differentials, and has both High and Low gear ranges. This gets you better gas mileage when running in 2-Wheel Drive, which is what you'll use 90% of the time in Michigan, more if you're in the southern part of the Lower Peninsula. Then, when it snows, is icy outside, or you decide to go off-roading, you can engage the 4-Wheel Drive for better traction. I live in the northern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, near Petoskey, and my family has had all types of vehicles: Rear-Wheel Drive, Front-Wheel Drive, All-Wheel Drive, and 4-Wheel Drive. After our experiences, all the vehicles we own now (four of them, with one more likely soon now that my brother's driving) are 4-Wheel Drive, and we use them a lot. I can provide a list of the SUVs that offer true 4-Wheel Drive as opposed to All-Wheel Drive. If you like the idea of a pickup truck, only the Honda Ridgeline is All-Wheel Drive. The rest are 4-Wheel Drive. I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.
