Application of PEX250×750 Jaw crusher
This series of jaw crusher can reach the crushing ratio of 4-6 and the shape of final product is even. They are widely applied to crush high hardness, mid hardness and soft rocks and ores such as slags, construction materials, marble, etc. The pressure resistance strength is under 200Mpa, that is, suitable for primary crush.They can be used in mining, metallurgical industry, construction, road and railwaybuilding, conversancy, chemistry, etc.
Working Principle of PEX250×750 Jaw crusher
This series jaw crusher adopts electric motor as the power, and the eccentric shaft is revolved by an electric motor through v-belts. It causes the swing jaw to follow the pre concerted path and crush the in-fed materials, and then the materials will be crushed in the crushing chamber which is composed of the stationary jaw plate, swing jaw plate and the liner plate. Finally the finished materials are discharged from the lower part of machine.
Please carefully examine the fasteners, especially the lubrication components and bolts before starting the machine. Enough oil is needed on each lubrication component. Fasten the loose bolts, clean the crushing cavity, and then start the machine. Insufficient load or over load is not allowed. Moving jaw plate, fixed jaw plate, side guard plate and roof plate are wearing parts, and much attention should be paid to them.

- Are you crushing individual cans or making a block of cans 1 cubic foot when things are done? Suggestion, get one can and put it on a piece of plywood and put another piece on top. Then stack weights on the top piece of wood until the can crushes. Take the area of the can and divide it into weight. This will give you a number in pounds/ square inch that you need for force for one can. Next, most crushers use a mechanical advantage of some sort due to the expense of motors. And they also use hydraulics to crush the cans. Like two plates of steel with a hydraulic cylinder at one end in back of the steel plate. Kinda like a log spliter. You can use hydraulics or some kind of other mechanical advantage like a block and tackle. Get a small 120V motor and look at its power and then rig the mechanical advantage to get you the power needed in pounds/in2 to crush the can. Another idea is to get the jack out of the car and use it between two plates to crush cans. Or buy a bottle jack.
