5.FAQ of Solar Module
1. Q: Do you have your own factory?
A: Yes, we have. Our factory located in Jiangyin city, jiangsu province.
2. Q: How can I visit your factory?
A: Before you take off from your country, please let us know. We will show you the way,or arrange time to pick you up if possible.
3. Q: Do you provide free sample?
A: Usually we do not offer free sample
4. Q: Could you print our company LOGO on the nameplate and package?
A: Yes, we can do that.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on sloped roofs?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on sloped roofs. In fact, sloped roofs are one of the most common types of roofs where solar panels are installed. The angle of the roof can be adjusted to optimize the positioning of the solar panels and increase their efficiency.
- Q: I am looking to get some solar panels for my home to just power a few lights, a fan or two. I have a generator but I want that only to power the fridge and maybe some other small stuff for convenience. But mainly want the solar panels for the lights and fans. Any one have an idea of how about I go to figuring this all out? Should I call a contractor or anything?
- depends on what light bulbs you have in watts.depends on how many you want on. for the power equation you take P which equals watts x I which equals amps and E which equals volts and you multiply the amps and the volts together to get the watts which the solar panel is generating. for example if you had 7 60 watt light bulbs you would need 420 watts generated. which if you got 50 watt panels each you would need 9 panels. and for what your talking about if you want the stuff to work when the power goes out you are going to need an inverter. not to be confused with a grid ti inverter. and a few batteries i recommend deep cycle batteries that are meant for solar panels. depends on what fan you have.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with frequent power outages?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with frequent power outages. Solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, which means they can continue to produce power even when the main grid is down. However, for uninterrupted power supply during outages, it is important to have an energy storage system, such as batteries, to store excess energy generated during the day for use at night or during power outages.
- Q: I have an electric bicycle that I travel to work by, pulling a modified child carrying trailer that holds two 2 volt deep cycle batteries in series to power the 24 volt bike motor. I'm thinking about adding a 50 watt solar panel (or larger depending on the room I can make available) to charge while I'm at work and to provide some extra juice while on my more distant travels. Can I get a solar panel to charge them while they're connected the way they are: in series? Does charging work that way?I've read that in order to charge the 24 volt battery setup (if the answer to the Q above is yes), the output from my solar panel would need to be a little more than 24 volts. Is this true? If so, how many volts?Since the bike is supposed to be powered at 24 volts and I have an x-volt (x gt; 24v) solar panel connected to it, will this cause any damage to the controller or other components while running them? Will it help supply power even while the motor is being run? Thanks.
- Yes, you have it right you need two 2V panels wired in series to give 24V to charge a 24 volt system. But along with the 24V you also want some amperage, otherwise it takes forever to charge. Most of the little chargers are called trickle charges because they only have an amp or two. If you had two 25 watt solar panels putting out 24V you have : watts = volts * amps 50 watt = 24V * x amps x = 2 amps If your battery is say 50 amp hours of storage, then if you are putting in 2 amps it will take you 25 hours of sunlight to power it back up from a dead battery. So the charge time depends on how many amps you are putting in there at 24V A car battery charger typically charges at 0 amps at 2V, so 2 * 0 = 20 watts of power going in there So if you go solar make sure to use a charge controller and a big enough panel to get close to 00 watts for any decent recharge time. The charge controller makes sure that the battery only gets voltage going one way and it least 24V. So if the sun went behind some clouds and the voltage dropped to 20V, the controller shuts off the current until the voltage equals 24V or more
- Q: I have heard you can make your own solar panels.... But How?Where do you start? Is it cheap, or should I just BUY them already made?
- A few months ago my wife and I were going through the same thing. We ended up purchasing a small PV set as a trial basis but then we realized that it would take waaaay too long to pay back our investment. We started doing some research and ended up buying a few different books/videos on how to make our own solar panels on the cheap. Most of the books are OK (some are pretty terrible, though). We ended up using most of our information from Home Made Energy, check them out: bit.ly/greennrg
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of wind-blown debris?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of wind-blown debris. However, it is important to choose durable and robust solar panels designed to withstand such conditions. Regular cleaning and maintenance might be required to ensure optimal performance and longevity in these environments.
- Q: Solar Panels not working very well, they have faded. Is there any paint or anything else I can do to restore them? Thanks Eileen
- Unfortunately Eileen the panels are bound to fade as its par for the course. Over time much like everything else (from an AC condenser to your knees and hips) everything starts to go south. When did you purchase and install your panels? If this was done within the past few years then something is definitely wrong, and you should have the manufacturer and installer come back and replace the panels....on their dime of course. Is the warranty on your panels still in effect? If so then its definitely something that they have to come back and take care of. There is a company I know of called Sun Electronics that has a 20 year warranty on their products, so if its worth anything you might want to buy your new panels/system from them. The panels around today are more efficient than those of years past, and with the cost coming down due to economies of scale and the tax incentives you might want to consider getting a new system. Sorry to let you down though Eileen!
- Q: How do solar panels affect the insurance premiums of a home?
- Solar panels can potentially affect the insurance premiums of a home in a positive way. While the upfront cost of installing solar panels may increase the overall value of the property, insurance companies often view solar panels as a risk-reducing feature. This is because they can decrease the home's reliance on traditional energy sources and potentially lower the risk of fire or electrical damage. As a result, homeowners may be eligible for certain insurance discounts or reduced premiums, depending on the insurance provider and policy.
- Q: I have been thinking about getting solar panels for my house. What do you think I should get? Companies? Prices? I also have another question. How much energy can a small solar panel produce?
- A small panel will not produce much power. When people put solar electric panels on their house with the goal of saving money, they generally put up a lot of large panels - 200 or 500 square feet worth. Its hard to save money with just one panel. The only way to get close on how much it will cost and whether that represents a savings is to get out your electric bills for the past year, and call a local solar installer for a quote. The system on our house cost $20,000 and we got back $8,000 in incentives, so $2,000 net. It can save money, but that will be over many, many years.
- Q: Can solar panels be used for off-grid living?
- Yes, solar panels can be used for off-grid living. They provide a reliable and sustainable source of electricity by converting sunlight into usable energy. This makes them ideal for powering homes, cabins, or even recreational vehicles in remote areas where access to the utility grid is limited or unavailable. Solar panels enable off-grid living by storing excess energy in batteries, allowing for electricity usage during nighttime or cloudy days.
