- Q: What is the best combination going to RO: sediment, carbon and resins, or sediment, resins and carbon?
- So annoying, I hate when they do that here at the apartments where I live at, I just grab a chair with my neighbors and sit outside and chat until they tell us their finally finished!!
- Q: my son claims he cannot wake up in the morning and cant wake up to the alarm. the volume is cranked to the max and i can hear it through the walls. i think hes full of it and hears it and just doesnt want to get up. the alarm is right next to his head. youd have to be deaf to sleep through it. is this possible?
- because it's a smoking room. it'd be stupid to have a smoke detector in there
- Q: I recently got my heater repaired after it was making some unusual noises. That same day, the fire alarm went off 2 times during the day and once during early hours. The next day, the fire alarm went off twice again. My alarm company claimed they had called me each time the alarm went off, but this was not the case. They alerted the fire department the fifth time without my consent, and the fire truck arrived at my house. Luckily, I was not charged but I most definitely do not want this to happen again! It's not smoke, though there is this smell that comes from the heater. What is making the fire alarm go off? There really is no problem with the heater at this point.. is my fire alarm too sensitive? Thanks for your help!
- That's what speed bumps are for, to break stupid peoples cars and stop smart people from speeding :)
- Q: Ok so every night around this time I get a horrible urge to urinate, it lasts until the tank is empty I'd you know what i mean and that takes a LONG time since only a little comes out at a time, I have to goto the bathroom about 15 times before I start urinating (can't hold it) on the rug, it is disgusting and it's really been bad for over a month now, the funny thing is when I lay down the urge is so bad it feels like the urine is about to just come out, rather when im sitting up it's not bad. Also once I fall asleep I don't wake back up in the middle of the night to urinate that's it until the noting. I also noticed I have a very hard time urinating during the day I have to get it an extra push, something i never had to do before in my 20 years of life, I'm very young for this kind of stuff, I don't know what it is and I have been to the urologist he said there was nothing wrong, im getting worried. I appreciate all of the help, thanks very much.
- Overall, they only seem like average snapshots, not anything satisfactory or exciting, sorry to mention. I could additionally recommend to show off the flash, or a minimum of diffuse it with a realistic espresso filter out. Other than that, brush up on images, similar to composition, rule of thirds, and lights. Practice makes excellent; so does finding out and studying. Keep making an attempt, and count on higher outcome with time.
- Q: i use it on t-mobile. i can make calls, receive them and any text messages. but no picture or web browsing.
- I don't know how big a carb your rotary uses, but if you could find a small Holley carb to replace the current one, you can easily modify it to be boosted (blow through). If you do draw through, it would be a good idea to not run an intercooler. I'd say try to make it blow through, because then you could run an intercooler. But, if you want a cheap easy way to do it, go draw through, as all you'd really need is an adapter to bolt the carb to the turbo inlet and the piping to run the turbo. A MegaSquirt system seems a little too in depth for just a toy. I'd say just be sure you can weld pretty good to make air tight pipe fittings. Outside of that, it's not too difficult as long as you have enough room in the engine bay.
- Q: Designing equipment for shipment to China and they request metric pipe sizes. Where can you get metric pipe and fittings in the US?
- I would go with the barbed/crimped sleeve connection system rather than the SharkBite (which is a glorified Swagelock type system normally used for tubing applications). My experience with Swagelock is that they work well when installed correctly, but can be very finicky to get leak-free (tubing has to seat all the way into the fitting; ferrule must fit squarely on the tubing; must thread the nut on correctly the first time and then neither over- nor under-tighten). Also, while a Swagelock fitting body and nut are reusable, the ferrule is a throw-away item you must replace. Though I've not used SharkBite, I have the same concerns since the design looks the same. The barb/crimp looks simpler/easier to get right. In either case, the most reliable method for installation is to have only dedicated runs and to NOT install any fittings in walls (for example, don't tee off of a line in a wall to feed two sinks). Every mechanical connection is a potential leak spot. The beauty of PEX is that you can run continuous lengths from source to destination, gently bending it as needed. You can't do this with iron, copper or rigid plastic. I've seen photos of PEX installations with loads of couplings and elbows in the wallsthis is lousy workmanship that destroys a lot of the inherent advantages of PEX. As the first responder noted, follow the manufacturer's instructions/recommendations wherever possible. Plumbing errors can lead to very costly damage, and most manufacturers are interested in making sure your use of their products is a successful one. Good luck.
- Q: This question is not really about things of clothing in greece it is actually of HOW TO MAKE A PRETTY CHITON a type of greek dress it has to be easy and if you want some info would help ALOT!!!!!!!
- ive seen some really sharp pipes made from the many different sizes and shapes of threaded plumbing fittings. you can start with a bell reducer for the bowl and then just go nuts. there are fittings to change different sizes, threads, angles, anything you want to do with it. scuba masks with tubing, deer antlers, man smoke a bowl and let your mind take the wheel.
- Q: I had blood drawn today at the lab at my doctor's office. The person that drew the blood wore gloves but then she had an assistant come by and put the gauze and tape on without wearing gloves. I asked if she should be wearing gloves and she says that she didn't wear them because they'd stick to the tape and that she didn't actually touch the blood so it's ok. I just wanted to make sure in other's experiences that is normal. I'm always paranoid about getting STDs. Thanks!
- Think out-side the box, the drains are easy, just some schedule 40 PVC of the proper diameter, a Fernco fitting or two, and some elbows, (make sure you keep a good slope on the section leading from the trap to the existing drain line). As far as supply lines, get some dishwasher supply lines, they are available up to 8' long, and have essentially the same ends (fittings) as faucet supply lines. They are completely flexible, permanent, no different than what is there, just longer, can be neatly routed along the back of the vanity, from the shut offs to the new sink location. any number or retaining clips could be used for this step, (1/2 conduit clips spring to mind). No sweating of pipes, no moving shut offs, etc. and your off and running for about 30 bucks. Good Luck!
- Q: All I can find, is that they were banned in California, because of their demonstratable bioaccumulation in mammals - humans included. Based on animal studies, these chemicals have been implicated in causing thyroid problems and neuological damage. In fact, only a single dose of Pecta substantially brain damaged fetal mice in the test group. So are these two chemicals banned in the US, or not? And if so, when were they banned?I have a 2007 Ford Ranger truck, purchased in January 2007. Pecta and Octa were used in vehicle interiors, and have been discovered as contaminants in the dust inside cars, as well as in the stagnant interior air one first breathes in after a car's been sitting in the sun. Are they in my truck? Moreover, my father (see: idiot) while riding passenger in my truck, once, took his hand and swept it across the dash, deliberately disbursing a whooole lotta dust up off of it and into the air that I had no choice but to subsequently inhale. Could this be bad for me?
- You can try putting up flashing streamers that you can make yourself from stakes, tine and strips of aluminum foil. I've tried that in the past with limited results. Some people say putting rubber snakes in the plants will help and of course you can buy of kinds of scare balloons that look like owls or birds of prey. The only foolproof method is netting which is much simpler on bushes than trees.
- Q: how long do you think it would take a mechanic to tighten the wheel studs on my 93 integra. the guy i bought it from said that i had to tighten the wheel studs on it as he had just put a new tire on and the wheel was making noise because of the loose studs. i have an extra set of studs in case i need new ones, and also how much do you think it would cost for him to do it?
- if this is a water line u must shut the water off to the home. take a torch and heat the damaged area. take some flux( its a solder paste) and brush it over the area. then take some solder and add to the area. do this while u have the torch heating the pipe. it will not work without the heat if u never did this before u may be better off contacting a plumber. good luck
