FAQ1
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
1.What price for each watt?
It depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms,
2.How do you pack your products?
We have rich experience on how to pack the panels to make sure the safety on shipment when it arrives at the destination.
- Q: Hi. I need to build a solar panel for a project. it should be able to light a 60 watt light bulb. also, it should be about 3x3 ft if it is 50% efficient. if anyone knows any websites or can help me, please answer! thanks.
- I don't have any practical experience building solar panel arrays to power a given device, but allow me to make this observation. Solar cells, when exposed to sunlight, will each generate a given amount of power (watts), and by wiring these in series, you will increase the wattage. Now, a panel three feet square will give you a certain amount of power, provided all the cells are wired correctly in series, and it may not provide enough juice to light the bulb. You can work around this by adding a step-up transformer (which takes the incoming power and boosts it to the desired level for output, with no moving parts). Voila! You've illuminated your bulb. I will admit, though, you'll have to do some math to determine what you need. A search on the Web will help you find the formulae and other information you'll require. Good luck.
- Q: I'm trying to charge rechargeable AA batteries with a solar panel. What guage wire should I use to connect the panel to the batteries? Should I use a diode to keep the batteries from overpowering the circuit? If so, what size? My panel is 4.8V 50mA.
- With that size panel, you should be able to recharge either AA battery, or two AA batteries in series. Yes, it would be a good idea to put a blocking diode in series with the panel - anything will do, like a N448. You will want to use NiCd batteries if possible, because they take a trickle charge of 50 mA much better than NiMH (which prefers pulse charging, a more complicated circuit). You can use NiMH if you must. Needless to say, don't try to charge non-rechargable batteries. Also realize that at this charge rate, it will take days, maybe even a week, to charge the batteries, if left out in full sun all day long.
- Q: How do solar panels affect the property's LEED certification?
- Solar panels can have a positive impact on a property's LEED certification by contributing towards earning points in various categories such as Energy and Atmosphere, Sustainable Sites, and Materials and Resources. Installing solar panels demonstrates a commitment to renewable energy and can help achieve higher levels of certification within the LEED rating system.
- Q: I am looking to get some solar panels for my home to just power a few lights, a fan or two. I have a generator but I want that only to power the fridge and maybe some other small stuff for convenience. But mainly want the solar panels for the lights and fans. Any one have an idea of how about I go to figuring this all out? Should I call a contractor or anything?
- depends on what light bulbs you have in watts.depends on how many you want on. for the power equation you take P which equals watts x I which equals amps and E which equals volts and you multiply the amps and the volts together to get the watts which the solar panel is generating. for example if you had 7 60 watt light bulbs you would need 420 watts generated. which if you got 50 watt panels each you would need 9 panels. and for what your talking about if you want the stuff to work when the power goes out you are going to need an inverter. not to be confused with a grid ti inverter. and a few batteries i recommend deep cycle batteries that are meant for solar panels. depends on what fan you have.
- Q: Can solar panels be damaged by hail or other weather conditions?
- Yes, solar panels can be damaged by hail or other severe weather conditions. Hailstorms can cause physical damage to the panels, resulting in cracks or breakages. Additionally, extreme weather conditions like heavy snowfall or strong winds can also potentially harm the panels. However, modern solar panels are designed to withstand various weather conditions to a certain extent, and many manufacturers offer warranties that cover such damages.
- Q: what do solar panels do?
- Hi okorder
- Q: Dont/Cant work alone?when you buya asolar panel you mUST GET bATTERIES, voltage regulators and many else stuff?cant they just work directly? or can i use normal batteres like Car batteries? The one who Really knows 0 pts. thanks

- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a residential community?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a residential community. Many homeowners and community associations are choosing to install solar panels on rooftops or in shared spaces to generate clean, renewable energy for their homes and reduce their reliance on grid-supplied electricity.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of heatwaves?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of heatwaves. In fact, solar panels can still generate electricity in extreme heat, although their efficiency may decrease slightly due to the temperature increase. However, it's worth noting that high temperatures can also lead to increased energy consumption for cooling, which may offset the benefits of solar energy to some extent. Nevertheless, solar panels remain a viable and sustainable solution for electricity generation in areas with high levels of heatwaves.
- Q: Where can I buy solar panels other than online in Charlotte, NC?
- You need to be more specific about what type of solar panel. ) PhotoVoltaic (produces electricity) 2) Fluid (Glycol) (heats water or air using a heat exchange tank) 3) Fluid (Water) for pool water heating
