1.Structure of Aluminum Foil for Container Description:
Aluminium foil is produced by rolling sheet ingots cast from molten billet aluminium, then re-rolling on sheet and foil rolling mills to the desired thickness, or by continuously casting and cold rolling. To maintain a constant thickness in aluminium foil production, beta radiation is passed through the foil to a sensor on the other side. If the intensity becomes too high, then the rollers adjust, increasing the thickness. If the intensities become too low and the foil has become too thick, the rollers apply more pressure, causing the foil to be made thinner.

- Depends on the food, sometimes nothing if it wont splatter. If it will splatter then Plastic/Saran Wrap is a safe betDO NOT USE ALUMINUM FOIL!!!
- Q: I'm looking for the recipe that would include those three ingredientsCan have others too (like rice, pasta, spices, etc)I think I saw it on a can of evapmilk a few years ago (and made it)Can't find it on the webI'm pretty sure it wasn't NestleIdeas of what I can do with mustard, evaporated milk, and chicken? Fire awayThanks!
- This is the way I make REAL fritesFluffy on the inside and super crispy on the outsideI got this recipe from the America's Test Kitchen and is much faster than parboiling or soaking the potatoesCut potatoes ( I use russet baking potatoes) into wide shoestrings with a good knifeCoat with vegetable oil and microwave for about 2 minutes until they bend easily without breakingRinse in a collander over cold waterPat very dry with tea towel Fry in at least 3 vegetable oil at 325 for about 3 minutesDrain on a paper towels or brown bagsTurn up the heat to 375 and return fries to oil and fry until golden.
- Q: Hi, thanks for looking :)I have a small red oak that is around 2m high (7ft?)I've noticed that since early summer some leaves on some twigs have started to slowly die, becoming brownI have also noticed that some leaves in the crown have some pale green or yellow spots, it look like it's bleached or somethingDo you think it needs fertilizer or what's the problem? if you think its fertilizer, how should I fertilize it? Thanks for your help!
- What I know: Saplings need pamperingWhat I don't know: How to pamper a red oakWhat I think: It might be lack of fertilizer(I'm inclined to think that's not it.) It might be not enough waterIt might be insects or a diseaseIt might be one or two freaky leaves that just didn't feel like staying green all summerYou might be having unusual weather as a factorWhat I recommend: 1Basic research on how to care for a new red oakIf that doesn't give you an answer, then2Lots and lots of research on the care of red oak and it's possible pest problemsWhat I'm pretty sure of: You probably don't have to get to step two yet;) All kidding aside (and I did include real ideas too), our city has been pushing free trees on people, simply because our mature trees are past their life expectancy, so we will need new trees to replace themI live in a part of the city with no groundWe have sidewalks for front yards and a slab of cement for backyards, but the city was willing to break open a slab of our front sidewalks and plant the tree for anyone who asked Now we have a whole bunch of saplings with what looks like plastic bibs at their baseThe bibs are to keep the trees watered (pour water down it and the plastic acts like mulch, keeping the water from evaporating quickly.) Consider the economy right now, and yet the city is offering trees and bibs for the treesThose bibs cost money, and yet, it's obvious saplings need to be pampered enough that the city is doing everything in its power to keep those trees alive(After all, if they die, the city has to remove them toolol) In this economy, if government is willing to protect baby trees that much, it tells me baby trees really need to be watered and cared for early in their lives-not so much once they've matured.
- Q: Whats your favorite chicken wing recipe?
- I have extremely curly hair and I straighted my hair everyday for two yearsEventually, it made my very thick, healthy hair, weak, thin, dry and deadMy hair too started to fall outI tried everything people told me; Thermal guard sprays, conditioning treatments, Japanese straightening treatments etcTHE ONLY THING THAT WILL WORK IS STOPPING HEATING IT!!!! No blow drying, Straightening, ANYTHINGEven though you might not like your hair wavy, you'll probably see that the less you damage your hair, it will start to just fall into place, and look more natural, and not so out of controllAlso, you should go to Wal-Mart or somewhere like that and get an inexpensive deep conditioning treatmentYour hair just needs some major TLCI promise if you follow what I said, it will stop falling out, and regain it's healthy appearanceGood luck!
- Q: Its about:The Muhibah Company is a manufacturer of cylindrical aluminium tinsThe manager plans to reduce the cost of productionThe productional cost is proportional to the area of the aluminium sheet usedThe volume that each tin hold is 1000cm cube (1liter).1Determine the value of h, r and hence calculate the ratio of h/r when the total surface area of each tin is aluminiumHere, h cm denotes the height and r cm the radius of the tin.2The top and bottom pieces of the tin of height h cm are cut from square-shaped aluminium sheets.Determine the value for r, h and hence calculate the ratio h/r so that the total area of the aluminium sheets used for making the tin is minimum.3Investigate cases where the top and bottom surfaces are cut fromi.)Equilateral triangleii)Regular hexagonFind the ratio of h/r for each case.I really really really thanks for those who can solve my problemThanks once again.
- i have the same question as yours as my add maths project work.my friends are having the same problem too.i really hope that somebody could answer it.Anyway for question no2,there is a diagram.the diagram shows a circle on both two pieces of square aluminium sheets for the top and bottom surface of the can, plus a curved surface for the cylindrical can side.hope that you guys understandhere, help me to answer these as an addition from the questions above : investigate cases where the top and bottom faces of the tin are being cut from aluminium sheets consisting shapes of regular polygons.from the results of your observation, what conclusion can you derive from the relationship of the ratio of h/r and the number of a regular polygon? wastage occurs when circles are cut from aluminium sheet, which is not round in shape.suggest the best possible shape of aluminium sheets to be used so as to reduce the production cost.
- Q: Does anyone know any good pumpkin recipes?
- Blown insulation is far better as it gets into all of the cracks and corners.
- Q: what is the best way to cook itany good recipes i want it tender and juicyit is 1.4lbs
- If we were talking about any other pests I may suggest some home remedies but cock roaches are extremely hard to get rid ofThey are chemical resistant to many chemicals; OTC and commercialThe Raid and growth inhibitor are probably have nothing but a placebo effect on themYou really need to call a professional on this oneWhen you move you'll just take them with you so now is the time to address the problem.
- Q: My son is 15 years old and he's never had behavioral problems beforeHe's a very bright kid and quite popular, although maybe I'm just saying that because every parent thinks highly of their childHowever, when my wife was cleaning his room, she found sheets of aluminum foil with sear marks on one sideOn the opposite side of the sear marks were occasional clumps of a burnt substanceThe marks were also in a relatively straight lineWe've also found some cut straws under his dresser. Are the tin foil and straws instruments for drugs or am I overanalyzing this? What could he use the aluminum foil and straws for? It may have just been for a project for schoolWe'll ask my son about it when he comes back from the beach with his friends, but again, he's a good kid and I don't want him to feel like we don't trust him.
- Sounds like heroin or oxycodone; both of those are nasty drugs to get intoYou don't have to accuse him of doing anything but ask him what he was using the aluminum forIf he does suggest it was for a school project then casually ask to see the projectI'm not saying you shouldn't trust him but heroin and oxy are not good habits.
- Q: How to remove the adhesive sticker in aluminum foil bag?
- 1.smear facial oil onto it, then dig it with your finger and finally wipe it with a wet towel. 2.using hair dryer, waiting the glue to become hot and then you can get it down. 3.using the essential balm and it will be off a few minutes later. 4.You can use a eraser. In the beginning, you may find it become dirtier, but if you continue, you may find that it works. 5. put it into water, then put a little detergent, and finally use an old toothbrush to brush it. 6. use a cloth dipped in alcohol or wipe it with alcohol. 7.Using a sodium water or paint thinner to wipe it. 8. using cotton swab with nail polish remover to wipe 9.Put a piece of paper soaked in vinegar, and then gently put it on the two-side glue, waitting three or four minutes, giving the double-sided adhesive enough time to absorbe, and then gently take it away.
- Q: For a physics project, I need to make a 4meter long track for a marble to travelThe objective is to have the marble reach the end without breaking a single sheet of toilet paper (single ply) or showing any signs of tearIt needs to start on a hill (obviously), do a loop, and go over a bump and must last at least 4meters long. Now the problem I have here is the material to use, I tried some pvc piping, but its not flexible enough, and the next thing I have in mind is cutting a garden hose in half, but I fear that a garden hose would be too narrow and provide too much friction, so what is a good, sturdy, flexible material that would fit say a $20 budget?
- Try a section of aluminum sheeting or tubing.
