The Models 250A, and 252 have a capacity of 3/32" to 2" diameter.
The Model 250A has a 2:1 ratio only. All models use hardened cams and the cam change takes only 5 seconds. When no cam is in place, the workhead can be used to spin grind or index grind (12 positions). The Model 250A incorporates a wide capacity and versatility in an affordable package. The innovative design of the Model 250A allows for the grinding of almost any drill geometry, and most are completed in a single chucking. The versatility also extends to taps, reamers, countersinks and end mills. Many of these tools can be ground with very little change in set-up. The Model 250A is available in manual, semi-automatic and automatic in-feed version.
Additionally, the Model 250A is available as a structural steel version specially equipped for easily putting the structural steel point on drills.
Selected Optional Accessories
Semi-Automatic Version
The power-driven workhead of the semi-automatic version offers a quiet, smooth rotation of the workhead. Manual effort is reduced for heavier grinding and spin grinding operations. Spark out is allowed to occur by using a minimum of manual infeed along with a reduction in workhead rotation speed. The speed is controlled by a conveniently located valve; the adjacent four-way valve allows grinding in either direction. A hand knob on the workhead is used for indexing and setup.
Automatic Infeed System
The semi-automatic versions can be equipped with the automatic infeed system. This can increase productivity by allowing the operator to do other nearby tasks while the drill is being ground. The system allows manual or semi-automatic grinding of all tool grinding, and use of the automatic infeed for standard drill points, countersinks and reamers. The grinding rate is adjustable and the counter can be preset for 1-99 cycles. An electroplated CBN wheel (standard) is used with the automatic infeed and requires no dressing. Larger, three-phase motors are standard and an ammeter is provided to monitor the grinding load.
Overhead Wheel Dresser
Timesaving option allows truing of the grinding wheel O.D. without changing the setup. (Not for use with diamond or CBN wheels)
Features:
Sealed linear bearing with hardened guide shafts
Downfeed with ball detent in .001" increments
Hardened downfeed screw with wiper seal
High-quality diamond included for truing standard and ceramic wheels
Air Bearing Fixture
Air Bearing Fixture on Model 250A Drill and Tool Grinder
Allows precision sharpening of endmills, reamers, shell mills and other cutters. The spindle is supported with a thin film of air providing nearly frictionless motion, resulting in a smooth, even grind. The fixture quickly mounts on the Model 132C, 250A, 252, 380 or 382S grinders, or is available with a universal base to fit most tool and cutter or surface grinders.
- Q: all sort of machinery related to used oil refinement in India
- You simply need a set of good filters and a purifier for purification of oil.

- Q: ...machinery?
- Legally. No. Unfortunately for him, most states are employment-at-will states. Neither employer nor employee are obligated to give notice or reason for terminating employment. Unless they told him that was the reason he was being fired and/or he has proof to back it up, he won't likely stand a chance at winning a wrongful termination suit against the company. Of course, when in doubt, he should seek consultation with a licensed, local attorney experience in Employment Law.
- Q: What kind of technology or machinery is used in the dental office for basic procedures (such as fillings, cleaning, extractions, crowns, bridgework, dentures, etc..)If you're familiar with any of them, please let me knowww....Will give you a Best Answer ...thanks
- Lasers are a real big thing in dental offices, they are minimally invasive, which means they take away the least amount of your natural tooth structure, and they are very precise. you get to keep as much healthy tooth structure as possible and you still get fillings done. we use ultrasonic cleaners to clean your teeth. for crowns and bridgework there is a, new to america and canada, machine called Cerec in office crowns. you get your crowns or bridges in one sitting rather than two, the crown gets madein the office, rather than being sent to a lab, and its made outta material taht is closest to natural tooth structure as possible. also digital x rays deliver 1/8 the amount of radiation compared to traditional x ray machines. check out your local dentist listings for an up to date in technology dental office.
- Q: Is repairs to plant and machinery revenue or capital expenditure???? Can you all explain why?????and what is the different between revenue or capital expenditure!!!1
- maintenance isn't a capital cost that is going to circulate down as necessary expenditure and is completely recoverable against tax as destructive to capital cost the place the equipment is wrote down according to annum as a share of the value. you are able to't write off a capital spend in one year yet you are able to write off the maintenance according to annum against that distinctive years tax
- Q: how to depreciate machinery by using weighted average?
- It really depends on how you want it weighted. If you have the original value of your capital asset, your variable depreciation ratio based on the data for the weighted average, and the time period, it's really just a matter of calculation. Can you be more specific with your question?
- Q: Some place like south, midwest or something like that. I need this for the scholarship im writing. thanks you
- It would be easier to ask where there are no houses in the US. Every house has at least one of the following washer dryer, dishwasher, car in the garage or lawn mower. These are all machinery.
- Q: Anyone know anything about Machinery Technician (MK) in the coast guard reserves? Is it true they would train you on working with engines? Anyone know if positions are guaranteed in CG or no? The website says 12 weeks in Yorktown, VA, *or* on the job training, has anyone ever gotten on the job training for this position instead and where at?
- the MK does all the engine repairs for the most part, aside from the muliti missions of search and rescue, law enforcement and boarding. the have guaranteed school IF there is availability. when you go to a recruiter as if there is or not for that time. on the job training is called striking. if you score high enough on your ASVAB you can have the option to strike, which means you will follow around a MK to learn everything rather than go to school. it takes a but longer but Worth it for people who really dont do well with classes. striking can occur where ever they send you-doesn't have to be one specific place
- Q: I just entered an abandoned air traffic control room, that have been abandoned since 1998 and I saw these stuff in it, Does you know what are they and the usage??
- I'd speculate that it was a backup power supply system with its fuel tank. The first picture is clearly a storage tank of some sort, with a simple contents indicator consisting of a float on the surface of the liquid, with an attached cord over a pulley dangling down to a weighted pointer in front of the scale to show how much was in the tank.
