Q: How to distinguish the fire resistant level of the rubber and plastic thermal insulation material?
It is divided into level A, B1, B2 and B3. According to the current "burning behavior of building materials classification method", Level A insulation material is a non-combustible material, which belongs to YT. However, from the point of view of the current market , level A insulation material are very few, only glass wool, rock wool board, foam glass and vitrified micro bead. However, compared with level A insulation material, the more welcomed by the market is the organic insulation material. This is characterized as thermal insulation material, which is divided into three levels: level B1 is flame retardant, level B2 is flammable and level B3 is flammable. The level B1 nonflammable thermal insulation material is determined according to the fire endurance of the material. And different parts of the material are divided differently! Such as the common EPS / XPS insulation boards through special treatment of adding flame retardant. . Level B2 combustible insulation material is commonly the EPS expanded polystyrene foam insulation board and XPS board, that is, the ordinary plate. This material has low ignition point, and releases large amounts of harmful gases in the combustion process . Level B3 flammable insulation material is commonly the thermal insulation material taking polystyrene foam as the main material. Since this material is highly flammable, it has been out of the external wall thermal insulation materials. As for the civil construction insulation materials, China's current popular building insulation materials in the market are mainly made of three organic foams: EPS (molded polystyrene board), XPS (extruded polystyrene board) and PU (polyurethane).
Q: The classification of fire-resistant material
Refractory material cna be divided into common and special fire proofing material. Common fire proofing material can be sub-divided in to acid fire proofing material, neutral fire proofing material. and alkaline fire proofing material according to chemical properties. Special fire proofing material can be divided into high temperature oxide refractory, refractory compounds and high temperature composite materials according to the composition. In addition, it also can be divided into common refractory products (1580 ~ 1770 ℃), high-grade refractory products (1770 ~ 1770 ℃) and super refractory products (above 2000 ℃) according to the strength . According to the shape, it can be divided into block (standard brick, special-shaped brick, etc.), special shape (crucible, sagger, pipe, etc.), fibrous (aluminum silicate, zirconia and boron carbide, etc.) and irregular shape (refractory clay, refractory castable, ramming material and so on). According to sintering process, it can be divided into sintered product, fused cast product and melting jetting product.
Q: Does hardware construction materials contain refractory?

Q: What's the refractory material in common use currently?
(1) Alumina-silica refractory brick: Except the transition band, hot end and firing zone of the rotatory cement kiln, it can be applied to the whole burning system of the precalcining kiln, such as the fixed wall lining, wicket, cooling machine, tertiary air duct, burner, etc. It mainly includes alkali-resisting brick, high alumina (anti stripping) brick, silica-mullite brick, etc. (2) Basic refractory: For the upper transition band close to the part of burning zone and the burning zone, its inner lining can endure the highest flame temperature of 2000℃ and material temperature of 1350℃-1400℃, and it also has to withstand the permeation of sulfur and alkali compounds, permeation, thermal shock and oxidoreduction of hot-melt clinkers (liquid phase), mechanical stress of elliptic cylinder deformation, etc. Therefore, inner linings are the most demanding parts to withstand stress, and only basic refractory can meet with requirements under this working condition. (3) Fireclay insulating refractory: Its microstructure has notable characteristics of high porosity, large pore size and thermal insulation performance. For its low volume density and light weight, it is usually referred to as lightweight refractory. Fireclay insulating refractory product has great varieties, and it is usually classified and named according to its chemical and mineral compositions or production raw materials, and it is also classified according to its operating temperature and material form. Currently, the most used main thermal insulation material for the precalciner kiln system at home and abroad is calcium silicate board; besides, light weight castable and insulating fire brick are increasingly used year by year. Other thermal insulation materials are mainly ceramic fiber products.
Q: Who can introduce the external wall thermal insulation materials fire rating regulations?
According to public fire-fighting [2007] No. 182, the contents of the notification on the implementation of a number of issues of national standards GB8624-2006 "building materials and products combustion performance classification", since there is large differences between the new version of the standard GB8624-2006 and the old version of GB8624-1997 in the principle, hierarchical structure and test methods. According to the cintent of notification, in order to ensure a smooth transition between the old and new standards, the current national standard "Fireproof? Specification of Building Interior Decoration?Design" GB50222, "fire?safety?rules of tall civil buildings design" GB50045, "Fireproof? The combustion grading requirements in the standard: Level A is non-combustible materials (products); level B1 is nonflammable material (products); level B2 is combustible materials (products); level B3 is flammable materials (products).
