Product Overview

PP-R (polypropylene random) tube called type three polypropylene pipe and is also called the PP-R pipe or PPR pipe, with energy saving, environmental protection, high strength, corrosion resistance, with smooth inner wall has the advantages of scale, construction and easy maintenance, long service life, widely used in building water supply and drainage, urban drainage city gas and power cable sheath, and industrial fluid transportation, agricultural irrigation construction, municipal, industrial and agricultural fields. The PP-R pipe is made of random copolymerized polypropylene and is extruded into tubes to be molded into tubes

Advantages:

1. Greatly reduced linear expansion coefficient, only 1/4 of that of PPR.

2. 100% oxygen tightness, suitable for heating systerm.

3. Improved resistant to impulse under low temperature, resistant to UV-rays.

4. Easily detected by detector when embedded, owing to the metal layer.

Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for use with hot liquids?
No, plastic tubes are generally not suitable for use with hot liquids as they can melt or release harmful chemicals when exposed to high temperatures.
Q:I have a 16 month old girl who has her first ear infection now. She has it in both ears and still has it even after her medicine was done. We have an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist for this Thursday, and I will be asking him the following questions.. But I also wanted to hear from people that went through this with their child. I understand that ear tubes probably won't be necessary because this is her first time with an ear infection. What exactly are ear tubes? How are they put in? What are the pros and cons of having them? I have heard that in the long run, they can cause more damage than good. And how did you soothe your little one while they were having difficulty sleeping at night? Thanks!!
Before tubes, the doctor should find out why the infection. She may have allergies that require medication to keep her passages clear. My 7 yr old is on her 2nd set of tubes. She had them put in because she got lots of infections and when she didn't have an infection, she had so much thick fluid in her ears that she had a hearing loss. The first set stayed in her ears for 1 yr and then fell out. The fluid came back and she had to have the 2nd set put in. Ear tubes are little disc-looking things that keep the ear canal clear of fluid. They are put in at a hospital under general anesthesia. I have never heard of long term problems with tubes, but there is no guarantee that they will stay in for a long time and subsequent surgeries are very possible. Talk to the specialist and see if he recommends allergy testing first. I would only have the surgery as a last resort.
Q:Broke 1 replacement tube trying to install it, any secrets to getting it on there?
make sure it is the correct size,if so put a little oil on end of tube, you can use blunt end of lead pencil to help you get started.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for storing agricultural chemicals?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing agricultural chemicals. Plastic tubes are commonly used for packaging and storing various chemicals, including agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. They are lightweight, durable, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for long-term storage and transportation of agricultural chemicals. Additionally, plastic tubes can be designed with various sizes and closures to ensure proper containment and minimize the risk of leakage or contamination.
Q:How do you clean clogged plastic tubes?
To clean clogged plastic tubes, you can try a few methods. First, try using a plunger to create pressure and dislodge the clog. If that doesn't work, you can use a mixture of hot water and dish soap to break down any grease or grime causing the clog. Alternatively, you can try using a pipe snake or a wire hanger bent into a hook shape to physically remove the blockage.
Q:I have a 1 year old Robo hamster named Jewel. She has PLENTY of food (slightly chubby lol) and things to chew on..yet she is chewing on the plastic hamster tubes? She lives in a 10 gallon tank and has a silent spinner and toys (and a hut) 1.can she chew THROUGH the tube and escape? 2.can this hurt her health?
It will not hurt her health. Any rodent is likely to do that. It is not impossible that she could gnaw her way out through the plastic. Keep an eye on it and if she makes a small hole, it is time to do something about it before she enlarges it. If she doesn't make a hole, it is fine. .
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for vacuum applications?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for vacuum applications.
Q:I have a pond pump and standard aquarium plastic tubing. I will be drilling tiny holes in equal increments throughout the tubing to release the air. Is there an equation to show the air pressure that will be released through the holes? I would like to know how many holes I need and how far to space them to achieve a certain amount of air pressure to be released from a specified length of tubing. This is a test and will not be done under water. A simple diffuser will not work for this application.Ideally I would like a formula where I can input the following and get a result:Tube LengthTube DiameterPump PSITube Hole SizeTube Hole QuantityTube Hole SpacingResultAirflow per Tube HoleAny help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information please let me know.Thank you,
Well, I suppose it could be done, but you would need the pressure at each hole, which is decreasing as the tube length and water depth. And you have so many variables! I also like to calculate such things as you are doing, but this is really over the top! Here is what I would do; Get a measured paper cup (say 1 cup, or 1/4 litre). Experiment with various sizes and number of holes in your tubing, then hold the cup over the coiled tubing, under water at required depth, with air pump running. Measure the time to fill the inverted cup with air. If a 1/4 litre container fills with air in 15 seconds (1/4 minute), you know you are getting 1 litre per minute. Then try other hole configurations to get what you want. This would be more fun, more practical, and will give bettter results. Good luck Bill
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for playground equipment?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for playground equipment. They are commonly used in the construction of various play structures and can provide a safe and durable option for children to enjoy.
Q:What kind of pipe material does the building PPR pipe belong to? Is it a plastic tube or a composite pipe?
PP-R tube is also called type three polypropylene pipe. It is made of random copolymerized polypropylene and is extruded into tube. The injection is made into pipe fittings. It is a new plastic pipe developed and applied in Europe in the early 90s.
