- Q: Reinforced plastic pipe is high density polyethylene PE pipe to enhance it
- This is not necessarily. The plastic pipe has many kinds, such as PE, PP pipe, PVC pipe, glass pipe and so on, there are many methods to enhance
- Q: How are plastic tubes stored and transported?
- Plastic tubes are typically stored and transported in a variety of ways depending on their size, shape, and material. They are commonly stored in cardboard boxes, plastic bags, or on specialized racks or shelves to prevent damage and ensure easy access. For transportation, they are often packed into larger containers, such as crates or pallets, and secured with straps or shrink wrap to prevent shifting or breakage during transit. Additionally, tubes that are particularly fragile or sensitive may be individually packed or cushioned to provide extra protection.
- Q: what is dialysis tubing? how can it be used to demonstrate osmosis?
- Dialysis tubing is actually a semi-permeable membrane when used in water. Experiments illustrating osmosis and pressure gradients across a membrane use dialysis tubing. This tubing usually comes in rolls and when wet, will open up into a cylindrical tube that can be tied off at the ends. The tubing can also be fitted over a thistle tube for such experiments. Dialysis tubing is literally a semi-permeable sheet of plastic. [Like a cell membrane, it can allow certain things in, but not everything.] In a dialysis tubing experiment, one fills the inside of the sheet with a concentrated liquid of some sort and then seals off the open ends of the tube. Then, one places the tube and liquid into another type of liquid and after awhile, the liquid from the outside moves inside the tube. What I did for my first dialysis tubing experiment was filling the inside of the tube with a concentrated starch solution and placed the tubing into a beaker of Lugol's solution diluted with distilled water. After a 1/2 hr, some of the Lugol's and distilled water will have entered the dialysis tubing. One can see that osmosis has happened because the Lugol's in the tube would have turned blue when in contact with the starch. Osmosis caused the diluted/unconcentrated solution of Lugol's and dH2O to go through the semi permeable membrane and into the concentrated solution of starch. Like a cell's membrane, if the outside of the cell is more concentrated, the cell would lose water because the the water will leave the cell and go for the concentrated outside environment. If the inside of the cell was more concentrated than the outside, the outside water will go into the cell through the semipermeable membrane.
- Q: How empty do you get the toothpaste tube before you will throw it out?
- we always use like almost the whole tube we roll it up when it gets low to get more toothpaste out.
- Q: What is the lifespan of plastic tubes?
- The lifespan of plastic tubes can vary depending on factors such as the type of plastic used, the environment they are exposed to, and the level of usage. However, on average, plastic tubes can last for several years to decades if they are properly maintained and not subjected to extreme conditions.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to bacterial growth?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be resistant to bacterial growth. Many plastic materials used in the production of tubes have antimicrobial properties or can be treated with antimicrobial coatings to inhibit bacterial growth. Additionally, plastic tubes are often designed to be non-porous and have smooth surfaces, making it harder for bacteria to adhere and multiply. However, it is important to note that the resistance to bacterial growth may vary depending on the specific type of plastic used and the conditions in which the tubes are used and stored.
- Q: I live in Mississauga, and I was wondering if there were any places close by even in Toronto that sell neon plastic test tubes, for drinking purposes/partying. Would the dollar store provide that sort of stuff, or do I have to order that online?

- Q: When a mechanic wants to empty a gasoline tank of a car,he fills a plastic tube with gasoline, dips one end of the tube into the gasoline in the tank, and puts the one end at a empty drum lower than the gasoline tank of the car.Why does this technique work?
- gravity and suction! the tube that is full of petrol wants to empty it's self into the lower empty tank which creates suction on the upper tank (as long as one end is in petrol) and gravity is always pulling the liquid or petrol towards the lower tank! Hope this helps
- Q: replacing fuel filler neck with jy replace it has 2 smaller tubes that change to plastic that are cut off 3
- my answer is try to check it out on auto repair shop..dude
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to high humidity?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to high humidity.
