- Depends. You can get little pieces at $5 to $10, and elaborate setups up to $50. Gotta tell you though, I've had hamsters and rats with the plastic tube setups and they're a whole lot of fun--until it's time to clean them. As you may know, rodents can't control their sphincters so they poo and wee all over the place, and that includes the little tubes. If you have a whole bunch of them, it's a real pain in the tuckus to clean, especially since your pet will bring pieces of cedar shavings with it into the tubes to create little nests, and that's going to bind with the urine and feces and it'll get stuck in there and the whole thing is going to stink to high heaven until you just soak it all in bleach and then there's pieces of urine-soaked cedar shavings stuck to your sink and GAH!!! I will never do it again. I'd rather get a metal cage with multiple levels, or a whole bunch of toilet paper rolls to play in, cause they'll just chew on those until they're gone and you won't need to clean them.

- Q: i have to know, because otherwise the hoover is rendered completely useless, the bottle cap is the same size as the hoover tube and i do not have a stick or long object long enough with which to poke it out :(please help meunfortunately, the hoover tube is plastic :( regrettably majority of said tube is plastic and flexible...this darned cap! therefore cannot be heated up, as the hoover will melt..and i can't afford another one!so hanything else anyone can suggest would be greatly appreciatedthe cap is stuck quite far up, but in a solid part of the plastic, im not sure blowing would dislodge it as sheer hoover sucking power seems to do nothingHELP PLEASE!
- if the hose or tube is strong enough you could bend the cap inside from the outside (similar to bending a beer cap) and it should fall out.. use a coat hanger wire with a hook in the end is another alternative.

- That's there so you can hook it to an air pump and make it bubble if you wish. MM
- Q: What are the physical properties of acrylic tubes (18width, 24diameter)? What is the property difference between a tube that is extruded compared to casted? All I'm really asking is which one is stronger and how strong is it? Is it easy to drill holes in them? Is PVC stronger, and what are the properties of that?
