- There is no glue that will fix that. You can try epoxy and then bolster it with epoxy putty and good luck with that. Pressure in the radiator is not your friend. Way back in the 1970's Triumph started using plastic parts on their cooling system. Time, heat and pressure caused failure of those parts with regularity. Now VW and BMW are using plastic parts in water pumps. They fail with regularity. What did they learn? Plastic will gaurantee profit for the repair shop. A counter argument to my last observation though,was my wife's old '86 Corolla with its plastic radiator. It never failed in over 214,000 miles.

- It would be a lot less efficient, as the resistance would be higher than copper. A lot higher. And then you have the problem of electrolysis occurring where the wire connects to the salt water. Silver has a lower resistivity than copper, so it would have a higher efficiency, that is about the only conductor better than copper. .
- Q: Okay this is a really horrifying scenario and I'm panicking. I have two 6 weeks old baby alexandarine parrots. I feed them by hand through a syringe. I attach a small rubber tube at the end of the syringe and feed them slowly. However as I was just feeding one, the tube got loose and is now stuck in the parrot's throat. I'm very worried. - Go to a regular vet. Though they are not bird-specific, it is still a better chance than trying to remove it yourself and risk damaging their esophagus. Hopefully it's not too late. Please at least call a vet; if you can't go to them, it's possible they can at least tell you how to safely remove the tube.

- Q: I have recently upgraded my fishtank. The new one has 3 under-gravel filters and I am using my old charcoal and wool filter as well. I am using a Sonic 9905 pump that has 2 air connections. When I first set it up 2 days ago, all three gravel tubes, connected by T pieces, flowed with no problems and the other filter had it's own tube.Now, either the 2 tubes closest to the pump work, or the further one. They seem to change randomly.How can I get all three to flow constantly?
- If the T piece do not have a regulator on it, replace it with one that has. This is usually called an air regulator. It has a knob on it that you can use to regulate the flow of the air in the tube. Or you can buy a piece of valve that can pinch the plastic air tube so that you can regulate the air that goes into one tube or the other. These are available in your LFS. Ask them and let them show you how they do it.
