Q: I am using an ACER laptop in particular. So, is it safe to use the laptop when it is directly plugged in (battery pack removed)? I only do this while gaming and i think it preserves battery life if I do this.
I'm doing this right now with my Acer laptop! I think it's totally safe, it's better to keep your battery out so that it doesn't fry. If you keep the battery out but the charger in, this is still a source of power and is safe. I've kept my battery out since I've got it, cos I don't wanna ruin it, fry it or ruin the battery life or something. :)
Q: hii have a sony laptop and the battery is TERRIBLE lasting at most 30 mins. at uni and will use the laptop in lectures etc i will need to be able to use laptop without it being plugged in. i have been told that you can get external batteries that will last like 4 or so hours. does anyone recomend one?thanks
yea those external batteries work try it
Q: do they make 18v batteries for it? If not how could i make one using an 18v lithium battery pack? Thanks
you should be able to take the battery housing apart and figure out the positive and negative leads the standard Ni-Cd cell puts out 1.55 v and the standard Lithium-ion puts out 3.7 v 12 Ni-Cd cells connected in series produces 18.6 v 5 Li-ion cells connected in series produces 18.5 v i do not know how many amp-hours the BD pack holds if the Li-ion pack needs more amp hours you could connect 2- 5 cell in a parallel circuit
Q: I'm building a circuit and I have no idea how electronics work. I want it to be roughly a 9 volt circuit. can i use a whole bunch of 1.5 volt rechargable batteries in series to get up to 9v or do i have to use a 9v battery?
Both work, but I would use a 9v battery.
Q: I have been using the Battery Pack from the Play Charge Kit on my Wireless Limited Edition Xbox 360 Controller for A While now. And now just recently, while I have been also using the cord from the Play Charge Kit that charges your Battery pack Controller, The Colour of the light on that has been changing from no colour, To red, And To green about 1 time every minute. Also, Whenever I press the Xbox Guide button, It keeps saying the battery life is jumping around from 1 - 4. And I don't know how to fix it. So I would be really happy if someone could please help me figure out what's wrong. Thanks!
i think u can gget microsoft 2 fix it and that retard above me is obvioussly an apple and google drone syckin apples dick at the same time as apple ***** him over on his mac e book that he paid 2500 for
Q: I already know why because I put in new batteries and it wouldn't come on. On the back where they have a little metal piece mine isn't up all the way it went back so i had to tamper with it until i got it working again and it only does it when is lets loose or when i take the battery pack out and my white remote sucks because my little brother would get mad and throw it on the bed or hit it hard when i killed him on COD Black Ops.
Well if it's the rechargeable pack it might've died/broken. They last about 3-4 years, when their time comes they eventually ware out and don't work. Buy some new ones
Q: if I were to buy one battery pack for the camera, how long do you think it will last? Thanks.
as in how long in years and recharges or how long as in how many pictures can you get out of it? In years-they can last a mighty long time. I still have the original battery that came with each one of my DSLR's. I have a rebel that I got in 2003 and the original battery still works fine in it.
Q: I bought a 12000 mAh battery pack from OKorder and it charges my iPhone perfectly fine but I noticed that suddenly it stoped charging one day and my usb cable just didn't work when I plugged it in the wall. I just assumed it broke and I bought another usb cable and everything worked fine and it charged my iphone fine but then it stoped working again and when I plugged it in the wall it didn't work either? Why is this happening? I don't want to be buying new usb cables every week
Hello, This seems a little strange, somewhat. Hmm. What are You doing with the usb leads what no longer work? Are you snapping them in-two so it renders them useless, by doing so it means you're not picking up, one of the 'duff ' leads. I think someone may be playing a sneaky trick on you, by substituting the newly purchased one you've just bought, with a one that doesn't work, each time, whilst Your back is turned, so to speak. Or, some person is sabotaging, the new lead once again, while you're not looking. It is very unlikely to be the leads, that are at fault if they were going to fail they would do so probably before the first charge had finished. I suspect someone may be a tad jealous of the bargain You've purchased on OKorder, And is fooling you into thinking the charger is at fault. I may be wrong, of course But I would consider foul-play is at work here. The solution is simple. Put the Charger Lead(s) away in a 'secret' place, of which, is known only to Yourself, No-one else, and I mean No-one ! Do this immediately after charging, keeping them in a safe place until Its' needed, And I bet You the 'Problem' does not occur again. If by some chance it does, then someone is replacing the lead whilst It is being charged Very Sneakything to do. Get rid of / or destroy any duff leads that you've used/ bought in the past, And render Them Unusable ! That way they'll not have anything to swap over Hopefully, Fingers Crossed. (Hth). .
Q: if i recharge the battery will the message go away?canon sd450
yes because then your batteries will be full so it will only pop up if they are low.
Q: I heard that there's an official Microsoft rechargeable battery pack that can be used with the Play and Charge Kit, and another one that's only a shell battery compartment that you attach to your controller and use normal disposable batteries for it. Which kind of battery pack is included when you buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller?
The Rechargeable Battery Pack for the Xbox 360 controller contains two AA nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries inside a sealed casing, with a custom connector on the rear to allow charging through the Xbox 360 controller itself. If you need more information you can visit the following link
