- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to mold or mildew?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to mold or mildew growth due to their non-porous nature and resistance to moisture.
- Q: I have a little bit of a project. I'm trying to figure a way to cool a pair of water filled tubing lines. I was thinking to wrap it with some type of cooling device but not quite sure what to use. Can you guys give me some ideas? I want to cool the lines as cool as refrigerator temps. Thanks.
- You have not said how much heat you need to disperse - whether it needs to be a continuous process or not. You have not mentioned whether the lines are flexible or what length they are! However, without making things too complicated, if you use a longish length of plastic tubing, you could coil them and run them through a bucket full of an ice/salt/water mixture. Depending on how fast the water is moving through the tubes, if you had a strong mixture of salt and ice - with just enough water in the bucket to allow conduction - you might be able to freeze the water in the tubes - which is probably NOT what you want to do. So experiment before the performance.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for promotional packaging?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for promotional packaging. They are versatile, cost-effective, and provide a unique and eye-catching way to package and display products. Plastic tubes can be easily customized with branding, logos, and product information, making them an excellent choice for promotional purposes.
- Q: I make models and the plastic that winds up in the trash could be reused if only I knew how to glue it. I have tried all of mine (401, epoxy, Loctite, Gorilla Glue, etc) to no avail.
- I use E-6000 clear glue for almost everything. I am a sewer and needed some weights so I used this glue on huge metal washers putting two of them together for more weight. I have had these weights for quite a few years. The trick to this glue is to let is set. According to the label is it flexible, paintable, non-flammable, waterproof, safe for photographs, etc. I would suggest not using this in an enclosed area for any length of time. Good luck - Hope that helps.
- Q: now don't tell me to go to he** or mind my own business.....I know there are alot of horse people on here......but I was just wondering if there are any on here who would question the human-ness of working these horses until they are panting and snorting and jumping.....and some missing the jumps and smashing their hooves into hard plastic tubes? Just curious.........Just want honest opinions............I really don't think, in my opinion (and everyone is entitled to their own) that many of these horses even want to be there.......(at the shows).........thanks for answering
- I'm a horseback rider, western though. Still, I don't agree with you. When I show, I can always tell that my horse is very happy. She listens to every command and parades around like she is showing off. She perks up every time she hears the audience cheer for her. My horse has a passion for showing, and I'm sure she isn't the only one out there. You could set up the barrels and poles in the arena and put her in there and walk inside, and she would be running them like she had someone riding her. She LOVED it. As for jumping, I had a friend who's horse would do the same but with hurdles. And my dog loves jumping. [i know its not the same but they are both animals.] Thanks for sharing your opinion. That was mine. :]
- Q: Is plastic pipe polythene good or polypropylene?
- Polyethylene pipe: light weight, good toughness, good low temperature resistance, non-toxic, low cost, high impact strength, compressive strength and tensile strength but lower; connection: flange, welding hot thread connection;
- Q: They are maybe a foot and a half long and are a hard hollow plastic tube. There is a sound maker inside and when you turn the toy vertically gravity pulls the sound maker down and noise comes out. It goes OOOOOOOOOOOAAHHHHH!!! I know that's a funny spelling, I laughed just typing it but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about.
- Giggle sticks. I love those things!!!
