- Q: How are plastic tubes cleaned?
- Plastic tubes can be cleaned by using warm soapy water or a mild detergent solution. They should be rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue. It is important to avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbers, or high temperatures that could damage the plastic.
- Q: The point is to remove as many sticks as you can without the marbles falling through.Anyone know? Thanks :)
- sounds like Ka-Plunk or something along those lines.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations depending on the specific type of plastic used. Some plastics, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE), have good resistance to temperature changes and can withstand both high and low temperatures without significant damage or deformation. However, it is important to consider the intended application and consult the manufacturer's specifications to ensure that the chosen plastic tube is suitable for the desired temperature range.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to rubber tubes in terms of elasticity?
- Plastic tubes generally have lower elasticity compared to rubber tubes.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to carbon fiber tubes in terms of strength?
- Carbon fiber tubes are generally stronger than plastic tubes. Carbon fiber has a high strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional stiffness, making it a preferred choice for applications that require maximum strength and durability. Plastic tubes, on the other hand, have lower strength properties and are more prone to deformation or breakage under high stress or load conditions.
- Q: What are the common wall thicknesses for gas line plastic tubes?
- Common wall thicknesses for gas line plastic tubes range from 0.0625 inches (1.59 mm) to 0.125 inches (3.18 mm), depending on the specific application and industry standards.
- Q: Does anyone know if i can run a aftermarket air filter right off of my Mass air flow sensor and my stock intake tube down to my turbo? I have a 1998 Audi A4 1.8 turbo
- Yes you can as long as it is all silled off tight from the air filter back MY 08 <demo camaro that i race at drag tracks ..has a custom home made system......with ram air .....my air fillters are on the roof of the car I just got some tubing ...cut a hoe in the old air box just big Enif for the houses and ran it to the roof..i did all this for about 250 but i chromed it out ......Just make sure ur olny pullin air that came threw the filter some cars will wig out if the air flow isnt just right JUST to let you know that if ur check engine light or such comes on it mayb bc of the computers pressure/vacuum readings but most of the time this does not happen example <lets just say If ur computer thinks it should be running at 2.0 but ur getting 1.0 or 3.0 the check engine light may pop on??but most likely not and just to let u know if u remove all that junkie plastic tubing and replace it with metal intake lines it will drop ur running temp ..and give u a lil better fuel mileage ..and hp I hope iv helped
- Q: i have some rolls of presidential dollar coins. do i need the tubes or can i just leave them in the paper?
- It okorder they are a large coin and stamp supply company. Very few paper type coin rolls are of top quality and archival, most have acid in the paper.
- Q: How are plastic tubes filled with powders or granules?
- Plastic tubes are typically filled with powders or granules using a variety of methods such as manual filling, automated filling machines, or specialized equipment. The powder or granules are poured or funneled into the open end of the tube, and then the tube is sealed to prevent any spillage or contamination.
- Q: Hi, I am looking for a strong tube about the size of a pen that is Non-Conductive and does not melt. I currently use a plastic tube for my project and it will melt and fall apart after 2-3 uses. Please let me know if you have any ideas as to a material of tube and if you can find me a link to buy the tube that would be awesome! Thank you!
- the only material i can think of that fits the bill would be a ceramic tube.
