Working Principle of Domestic Solar Water Heaters:

Solar energy, in essence, is an electromagnetic wave, a type of strong optical radiation, which is produced by thermonuclear fusion reaction. The energy of the solar radiation is transmitted through the liught of different wave length. The solar water heater is designed to mainly take in the energy of visible light & near ultra red light through the selective absorbing coating of vacuum tubes. When the water in the solar collector is heated by the solar radiation, its temperature rises. As a result, the water in the solar collector and the water in the tank form natural convection because of density contrast casued by the temperature difference. So the water of the higher temperature is incessantly forced into the insulated solar water tank( As shown in the figure).

FAQ

1. Q: Are you a factory or trading company?

A: We are a factory. Especially for Solar Controller, PWM solar controller 50A12V/24V

2. Q: Where is your factory located? How can I visit there?

A: Our factory is located in Guangzhou, China. You are warmly welcomed to visit us!

3. Q: what other product you have except such Solar Lighting?

A: We have poly ,mono cells and panels. Off grid solar system, like off grid solar inverter, pure sine wave inverter, solar collector, solar controller, solar charger, Portal solar system, battery, DC Fan, Solar Led Light.

4. Q: Can the price be cheaper?

A: Of course, you will be offered a good discount for big amount.

5. How can I get a sample?

A: Please call us or send email for asking the samples.

Q:When water hydraulic left me 2 root canal, an overflow, a lower water pipe, he put on the pipe three through the tap water and hot water pipes are connected, and in the upper and lower water pipe on the dark a ball, the ball is what is, Sheung Shui? If it is on the water off after the next hot water, if it is not Sheung Shui, then in what place did not see the location of the water valve he left the location of the water ah?
The valve should be connected to the sink Xicai pool of hot water supply. Please ask the amount of your installation master.
Q:How does the orientation of a solar water heater affect its performance?
The orientation of a solar water heater significantly affects its performance. Ideally, the solar collector should be angled towards the sun to maximize solar radiation absorption. In the northern hemisphere, a south-facing orientation is preferred, while in the southern hemisphere, a north-facing orientation is optimal. This alignment ensures that the solar collector receives the maximum amount of sunlight throughout the day, leading to increased heating efficiency and overall performance of the water heater.
Q:Can a solar water heater be used in areas with limited access to energy efficiency standards?
Yes, a solar water heater can be used in areas with limited access to energy efficiency standards. Solar water heaters rely on the sun's energy to heat water, making them an environmentally friendly and cost-effective option for areas with limited access to traditional energy sources. They do not require a connection to the electrical grid or other energy efficiency standards, making them suitable for off-grid or remote locations.
Q:What is the required maintenance cost for a solar water heater per year on average?
The required maintenance cost for a solar water heater per year on average can vary depending on the specific model and its condition. However, typically, the maintenance cost for a solar water heater ranges from $100 to $200 per year. It includes expenses for inspections, cleaning, and potential repairs.
Q:What is the impact of chemical water treatments on the performance of a solar water heater?
Chemical water treatments can have both positive and negative impacts on the performance of a solar water heater. On the positive side, using chemical water treatments can help prevent the buildup of mineral deposits and scale within the solar water heater system. This is important because these deposits can reduce the efficiency of the system by insulating the heat transfer surfaces and reducing the overall heat transfer rate. By preventing the formation of these deposits, the chemical water treatments can help maintain the performance and efficiency of the solar water heater over time. Furthermore, chemical water treatments can also help inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms within the system. These organisms can block the flow of water, clog pipes, and reduce the efficiency of the system. By using chemical treatments, these issues can be minimized or eliminated, leading to improved performance and longevity of the solar water heater. However, there can also be negative impacts associated with chemical water treatments. Some chemicals used in these treatments can be corrosive to certain materials commonly found in solar water heater systems, such as copper or aluminum. Over time, this corrosion can lead to leaks, reduced system lifespan, and increased maintenance requirements. Additionally, if the chemical water treatments are not properly monitored or maintained, they can lead to chemical imbalances in the water. This can result in damage to the solar water heater components, reduced performance, and potentially unsafe water for domestic use. Therefore, it is crucial to carefully follow manufacturer recommendations and regularly test and adjust the chemical levels to ensure proper balance and minimize any negative impact. In conclusion, chemical water treatments can have a significant impact on the performance of a solar water heater. When used correctly, they can help prevent mineral deposits, scale, and microbial growth, leading to improved efficiency and longevity of the system. However, it is important to be cautious and properly maintain the chemical balance to avoid any negative effects such as corrosion or chemical imbalances.
Q:Are there any safety concerns with solar water heaters?
Yes, there are some safety concerns with solar water heaters. These include the risk of overheating, potential leaks or bursts in the system, and the possibility of scalding hot water if proper temperature controls are not in place. However, these concerns can be mitigated through proper installation, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Q:How much hot water can a solar water heater produce?
The amount of hot water a solar water heater can produce depends on several factors, including the size and efficiency of the system, the amount of sunlight available, and the water usage patterns. However, on average, a solar water heater can provide enough hot water for daily household needs, such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning.
Q:Can a solar water heater be used in areas with high levels of air pollution from mining activities?
Yes, a solar water heater can still be used in areas with high levels of air pollution from mining activities. While air pollution can affect the efficiency of the solar panels to some extent, solar water heaters primarily rely on sunlight rather than air quality. As long as there is sufficient sunlight reaching the panels, the solar water heater can still function effectively despite the presence of air pollution. However, regular maintenance and cleaning of the panels may be required to ensure optimal performance in such polluted environments.
Q:Can a solar water heater be used in areas with high levels of air pollution from agricultural activities?
Yes, a solar water heater can still be used in areas with high levels of air pollution from agricultural activities. The efficiency of the solar water heater may be slightly affected due to the reduced sunlight reaching the solar panels, but it can still provide hot water by harnessing the available solar energy. Regular maintenance and cleaning of the solar panels may be required to ensure optimal performance in such polluted areas.
Q:Can a solar water heater be used in areas with limited access to sunlight?
No, a solar water heater requires direct exposure to sunlight to efficiently heat water, so it would not be practical or effective in areas with limited access to sunlight.
