I am thinking about oval mirrors.Thanks in advance: No rule, just do whatever you think will look best. You can do one large mirror that spans the entire length of the vanity. Usually you don't want the mirror to be longer than the vanity. If there are two sinks, you can go with two mirrors. If you do this, I would suggest picking mirrors that are at least wide enough to extend a little over the width of the sink. Too small of mirrors and it will look odd and out of proportion. Oval mirrors look great with a double vanity!

As well any ideas for countertops?: i just finished remodeling my master bathroom, and i went with an autumn maple vanity and golden sand granite double countertop with an undermounted sink. it looks beautiful. if you are going to paint the vanity, i definitely wouldn't go black. if it is a smaller space(less than 35 square feet) i would lean toward the white. i got away with the darker because i had travertine floors, yellowish walls, and a skylight with plenty of vanity and recessed lighting.
