Q: I just recieved a Harbor Freight generator with an 800/900 max watt capacity as a gift. I want to use it to power a 29 foot travel trailer (lights, microwave, tv, fridge, radio). I will be living in it so I want a way to give it power 24/7. I know this generater is not big enough to do that, but could I possibly charge 2-4 deep cell batteries to do the trick? I don't know much about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Assuming this generator outputs 120 VAC, then get a battery charger rated at that voltage and 800 watts, and use that to charge the batteries. At 12 volts, that is about 60 amps, so it will charge a typical 12 volt battery quickly. Probably too quickly, be sure the charger can be set to the correct charge rate for the batteries you will be using, and has circuitry that will detect a full charge and taper the charge down to the proper value. But you will need a lot of expensive batteries. If your drain is more than 800 watts, say 2000 watts, and you want your batteries to last for, say, 10 hours, that is 20000 watt-hours. dividing by 12, that is (with losses) about 2000 amp-hours, which is a bank of 20 large batteries. But charging batteries in general does not help unless you are counting on charging them at night, say, when your drain is low and letting them supply the extra power during the day. This means you will need an inverter and a way to synchronize the inverter with the generator output. In practice that is not possible, so you will have to split your loads and rewire to accomodate that. Altogether, a mess. .
Q: I need about a 700watt power supply that won't break the bank. I need it to be reliable and for it to last. It is for gaming.and the total watts is about 625.
you are able to spend you cash on a termaltake capability furnish wich are somewhat high priced yet good high quality and purchase a 400watt one or purchase a 500watt or greater, favourite capability furnish wich could value a littel much less and supply you greater wattage yet with the possibility of the capability furnish dieying previously than the termaltake one.
Q: 2 weeks i think continuously and was only stopped by man , is this perpetual motion
No. It uses power from the Sun, and if it did not receive power from the sun it would stop functioning. It is able to continue to operate at night or in heavy overcast conditions on banked power (batteries, or other), but only for a limited time (That might be one of the reasons it was operated in the desert). A true perpetual motion machine would be one which did not take energy from anything outside of itself. Such a thing is impossible.
Q: If I want 2 use my bank card 4 credit rather than debit do I still need 2 have the amount in my checking account? I've never done it b/4 and the powers out at my apt, its sunday and I need a hotel room.ty
yes you must have the money in your account. With debit cards because of holds and actual transactions you should have 2 times the amount needed in your account to be safe from fees for over drafting. Big deal the power is out-make due what is so important really to spend money for a night of no power.
Q: I have a tenant renting a room in my house who is dying from liver disease. He is really old and he wants his son to have power of attorney for his bank account. His son is in the military and cannot leave base to come home to sign the form at the old man's bank. What should we do now to get this power of attorney form filled out? Thank you for your time.
Ask the bank for their own POA form, have the tenant sign it in front of (probably 2) witnesses. Ask the bank if they need it notarized. The son doesn't need to sign the POA, but the tenant needs to sign a POA form the bank will accept. It's the TENANT's POA, not the son's. The tenant is giving power TO the son. So only the tenant's signature is needed. It would be simpler to ask the bank if the tenant can add the son to the account. That kind of thing can usually be done thru the mail (signature cards). I did this with my dad, out-of-state. I never went to his bank, but signed the cards and sent them back. In fact, I'm listed on one bank account that I never signed anything for.
Q: I know that Israel had been choking off supplies, but I thought Gaza and the West Bank were semi-autonomous by now. I mean, they've elected their own local governments. To call Israel an occupying power seems a bit outdated to me.
What many people don't understand is that there was no Israel before the winning powers created it after world war 2. Now it was all well and good to give the Jews a home, but there were already people living in what is now Israel. The Palestinians where forced from Israel, or expected to recognize Israel superiority. What Israel has done to palestinians is no different than what the US did to the native Americans. So if you ask me, Israel is occupying what used to be Palestinian land.
Q: Any rescue plan should also be designed to ensure that taxpayers are protected. It should welcome the participation of financial institutions, large and small. It should make certain that failed executives do not receive a windfall from your tax dollars.

Q: Cite a specific example of an implied power and describe how it was derived from a specific expressed power found in article 1 section 8.
National Bank. McCulloch v. Maryland (1819). The express requirement/power/responsibility of the federal government to print currency, tax, and spend, necessarily implies a power to charter and establish a national bank as a place to store that money, to operate a bank with deposits and to issue promissory notes, and to pay the debts of the U.S. An express provision regarding taxing and spending necessarily implies any and all unenumerated powers deemed necessary by Congress to perform that function.
Q: Ihavent opened a bank account lately but thinking about it bc I saved a lot. My question is I've owed salliemae for unpaid school loans ( went to medical assisting school few yrs back). Plus I have a few credit cards I stopped paying for about a yr ago. Can they take money out of my bank account for these unpaid loans? what the safest bank? help me pls . Thx *Jen*
If they have a legal judgment against you with an attachment to that bank account, of course they can take the money. There is no such thing as a safe bank that will protect you from federal laws.
Q: I need to get power of attorney at a bank. My mother recently died. My father's name is on the account but he is unable to make financial decisions.
Take your father to the bank with you and have him sign something there. Also check with an attorney for other stuff besides the banking.
