Q: Are there any benchmarks out yet? Aren't they supposed to be out in a week or 2. Also are the quad core or six core clock speeds out? And lastly, do you think sandy bridge will drop their prices on the 2500k and 2600k for the competition? Sorry for all of the questions, I was doing research on this a while ago and figured I'd find stuff on it by now...but maybe I don't know where to look.
Highly doubtful Even if the 8 core version does edge out the i7 2600K, it will still be behind in core-to-core performance which is the most important thing because the vast majority of applications do not use more than 1-4 cores
Q: i cant decide which is better! i want 8 cores but ive seen better reviews about the i5 2500k....ill be playing battlefield 3 and skyrim types of games so which ever will work i guess!
The okorder /... the Core i5-3570k and the Core i7-3770k are coming out next week. These processors are a little bit faster than Intel's Sandy Bridge processors.
Q: i have to present a speech on logging in tasmania. and i want to know which causes more emission so i can include it in the speech. plz answer as soon as possible as the day for me to present the speech isnt long away
your *** produces more than anything. DO YOUR OWN DAMN RESEARCH.
Q: If I want to invest on road construction, what kinds of machines do I need to use?
Tractor wheel scrapers, bulldozers, road graders, dump trucks, asphalt spreaders
Q: When I first bought everything, I could play whatever I wanted on ultra, bf3, far cry 3 on highest ultra setting etc. But now just a couple month later, my computer has been lacking performance, and cannot play far cry 3 on high without lagging, and hell..sometimes even my minecraft start lag. I think it all started after I tried OC so I have a feeling it is the cpu, but I never did anything vulgar like setting the volt to 1.55 (or farer) or set the cpu to 5Ghz.. and now I have updated the bios (no problems) and also reset and changed the battery.. I have no big ideas, so if anyone maybe could troubleshoot for me whats wrong that would be great :) ..and don't say my PC spec is not gaming material, bottleneck or overkill.. ^^spec : AMD FX-8150 3,6Ghz Geforce gtx 690Chieftec Nitro series 1200w10gb ram
well that is what happens when you over clock a processor eventually it dies slowly and all dies.
Q: The amd bulldozer (6 core 3.8 ghz) looks good , however I'm reading alot of people recommend the i5 2500 (3.30 sandybridge) .Or any alternatives to these ? Thanks .
i5 sandybridge would be the better choice because it is reliable you can also go for the i7 processor .It is better than all of them
Q: Should I wait until the rerelease of Sandy Bridge? should I wait until Bulldozer and/or Ivy Bridge is released to take advantage of liquidation price drop of lower generation chips? Should I even strategize my build around a good value to price cpu?a bit new to the DIY thing
The way I see it, the longer you wait for a newer item to get older and hopefully cheaper, the sooner you'll be upgrading in the long run because it'll become outdated. Shop around, there are deals every day on so much stuff. It might be more expensive to buy the newest cool gadgets but it will last you longer and perhaps save you money in the long run.
Q: Like in Gaza? And do they plan to roll them d-10,s over on IRAN and attack peaceful nuclear sites ?
You are So Wrong! The Land Belongs to the Jewish People Long Before ANYONE Else! Are You Truly Speaking of Peace - It Doesn't Sound like it! I was living in East Jerusalem during the Loss of the West Bank! I Saw ONLY Blood and Carnage - It was Suppose to be for 'PEACE'! Peace to All and God Bless! Jane.
Q: Could you tell me the total weight of the 140 bulldozer? Thank you
It's about 16 tons, without a ripper.A machine driven by a tractor with a wide, blunt horizontal shovel for removing land, roads, structures, or similar work.
Q: ok i was about to buy a intel i7 2600k, with two gtx 560 ti, im no millionare, so i want the best bang for the buck machine, i was going to buy two cards to use them on sli mode when im alone at home, but for the most part ill be using them on diferent machines, one for me and one for my brother, i want to buy some high end sli capable pc, and another one more modest for my brother , i was thinking to get a i5 and 4gb ram, for him, so, should i buy just this one for now and save my money for the upcoming bulldozer?, what do you think? what are your predictions?, any advice? 8cores really sounds cool, and it has to be more future proof than an i7 with just 4 cores, they say the new amds will out perform current i7s, even if they dont do it on a core by core comparison, they should be able to beat the i7s on multithreaded aplications isnt it?, but on the other side, an i5 2300 can outperform a six core phenom, for the benchmarks and reviews i have read, what to do? who to belive?
They were supposed to be out on the 7th, almost a week ago. Instead, release was delayed until about September-ish due to performance issues. According to AMD, they needed to increase the clock speed so they could compete with Sandy Bridge. According to a benchmark from someone that got their hands on one of the 8 core models and tested it (may not be real but it looks real) it actually fell short of the performance of Phenom II X6. So, expect September but don't hold your breath. I tried to find the video I watched of the benchmark tests being run but I can only find the confirmed fake benchmarks from May that show it outperforming the i7-2600k. There will be more bulldozers after the initial release, some of them with 10 cores. Intel will also be releasing a new enthusiast line (for $1000-ish) later this year including some 8 core models on... of course... a new motherboard socket and chipset. Then there is Ivy Bridge coming out sometime in the first half of 2012 featuring 3d transistors and a 22nm geometry. It will work on the current LGA 1155 socket but, oh of course, needs its own chipset. At least with the bulldozer you can already buy a motherboard that will support it along with Athlon II and Phenom II.
