Q:I live on the corner of two streets and we have an above ground pool in the backyard. On the side of the pool, which faces one of the streets, is the pool filter and heater. Since this area gets lots of water (us getting out of the pool soaking wet to turn on the heater or the water splashing out of the skimmer), weeds tend to grow like crazy! I want to find a way to shield that area from the road, but it still needs to be accessible to get to. Maybe a fence? But my husband will not use concrete, so something simple is best. Any suggestions??
go to your local BQ or hardware store and buy a combination waste pipe these pipes let you put a dishwasher a washing machine and any other device that requires draining there easy to fit and not expensive have a word with the shop assistant and he will show you the right onegood luck
Q:in the face with that fire extinguisher? that sounds like something Jerry Lawler and the fans would have love to see!
Ok it depends on the state and department rules. I've rode trucks many times to out of town drills and once on a call. It all depends other things too. Like on a volunteer station like mine we have every type of truck basically except a ladder truck. So different apparatus require different things. Like an engine or engine tanker require so many certified firefighters. Where as the rescue truck only requires an EMT. A lot of different factors. If check with your department on their rules and regulations
Q:I have a science project on making a car move out of these materials-2 sheets of paper-2 straws-3 rubber bands-4 paper clips-4 index cards(and minimal glue or tape for attachment purposes only)The car has to move! I have no idea how to make this car. If anyone has any suggestions or websites that could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Q:What should be used in the operation of compressed air blowing?
If it's a dangerous chemical, it's more complicated. To confirm whether it can be blown, according to its physical and chemical characteristics, wear appropriate protective equipment.
Q:I have a medium-sized porch (metal frame) with a very old screen on it that badly needs replacing. I can't really afford to hire someone at the moment, but I hate seeing it so ratty, and my husband has no spare time to fix it. I have no experience at all with this sort of thing. Should I just wait until we can afford to hire someone to do the job? Or is it straight-forward enough that even I could do it with the right materials and good instructions?I've been looking at instructions from various sites and it looks allright, but I don't want to make a mess of it if it's more complicated than it seems. I would dearly love to be one of those women who is proficient in home repair, and I was hoping this would be okay to start on.
I wouldn't know if I was the crushee, but I have been the crusher from time to time. Not majorly, though.
Q:I would like to know just the pros and cons of each. This is my first year getting any kind of snow tires put on my 2001 Mazda 626 (front wheel drive) and also my first time driving in snow.It takes me about 20 minutes to get to work and my street and some streets in the town I work in are poorly shoveled and plowed, there are hard packs of snow and ice in the road and I can't keep missing work and being unpaid.I heard that the pros of studded are that they can get thru any type of winter condition while the cons state that they are noisy and can damage the road. The pros of studless are they can get thru snowy areas and are not as noisy as the studded and the cons being they can't get through what the studded can.any suggestions??
Wow, Other safety equipment includes gloves, because it stings a little when hit in the hands, as well as a hat or balaclava to protect your whole head, however none of that is required.
Q:i got frizzy hair and i cant get it to look nice. i tried all the frizz treatments and they dont work.
I agree with you and yes it could have been mounted in the truck maybe because any time a regular battery is serviced, safety gloves, eye protection and fender protection should be used to prevent injury and paint from being damaged.
Q:i need it for my skul project so plz.
Adjust the slicer to zero thickness and remove the guard. The two stones will tip toward the blades and then there will be a device to bring the stones closer together or you push the stones onto the blade. Spray both sides of the blade with some cooking spray. Turn the motor on and apply the stones onto the blade as it runs. Just use a light amount of pressure on the stones and be very careful since you will be using the slicer with the guard off. Do not sharpen for more than a minute. Unplug the slicer and wipe down thoroughly wearing a safety glove. We use to sharpen our slicer about once a week and never did any harm to it.
Q:The trike I'm building has some similarity to the vehicles on this site:
eye wash stations around, safety gloves, vacuums in worst case scenarios in case you spill some REALLY bad chemicals. i've never really been TOO careful other than just being mindful of my equipment, wearing goggles and washing my hands afterwards it also depends on the acids/bases you're using, what solutions they make or have potential to make, how powerful of acids bases/concentrations. not enough information to give a really good answer.
Q:osha requires a monthly fire extinguisher test, can someone tell me what exactly am i looking for?
