- Q: I have seen some people here on YA, and even an op-ed article, saying that most of the houses lost in the fire were in dangerous locations and shouldn't have been built in the first place.
- Your copper tubing should fit the new dishwasher with the replacement of the olive which is the ball that seals the connection. another option is to replace the supply line with a stock piece from Your local hardware store.
- Q: A giant one foot rubberband would work too
- I work in a gun store I highly recommend looking into the Ruger SR-9 or the Compact SRC-9. They are great guns that run around 440.00 It has many good safety features cheap to shoot. The 380 ammo is pretty expensive compared to shooting 9mm. I also like the Glock 9mm the Springfield XD but you are looking at around 550 for those. There are many guns to choose from, I recommend you go down to your local gun store feel the guns in your hand. You have to be comfortable holding it. The bigger the gun the less recoil you will feel. I myself carry a Smith Wesson MP45 a Smith Wesson MP 9, I love both of those guns but they are more than you are looking to spend. I also carry a Beretta Nano 9mm for my Concealed carry gun. If you are really looking for something cheap, you might consider the Smith Wesson SD9, they run about $350. Not to bad a gun. Everyone has an opinion but you have to like what you buy.
- Q: I was wondering if microwaves can mess with a pacemaker and if there were other things besides microwaves that could. I have a relative who is getting a pacemaker and need to know.
- It is perfectly ok to bundle them together. Remember the heat tape should not touch itself, but make wraps around the pipe so they are about 1 apart. Do not wrap insulation over the thermostat as it needs to be open to the air. Wrap insulation loosely over the heat tape, make several wraps around the heat tape and secure with nylon zip ties. Any metal pipe fittings, valves, shut offs need to really be insulated well as they are the first to freeze up. Also dig down around any pipes that come up out of ground as the ground freezes down a couple of feet, heat tape/insulate down about 2'. Block up any holes in skirting as cold wind is also a threat. Do it now, vs. trying to thaw out frozen pipes in zero weather. Have a good dependable outlet to plug heat tapes into.
- Q: My rental car was stolen from right infront of my villa door. I used there phone to call 911 but it wouldn't go through. The front desk told me I have to call their public safety in order for them to relay the message to the police (which I feel is dangerous). I also asked the front desk to show the police, video camera footage from the exits and entrances. And she said they have no cameras by the entrance or exits. Now even though this is a timeshare villa am I within my right to request monetary compensation for their neglegence? Thanks in advance.
- I think you got all the gear your going to need. Now you need the motorcycle!
- Q: First of all, me and my wife are monogamous and married for 8 years, so the std risks are none, but I find little information on this. Me and my wife have anal sex at least weekly and she wants me to pee in her butt after I finnish to see how it feels but we cant find any health risks or concerns on this matter other than a few references to people doing it. Is there major risks or just the regular anal sex risks?
- Yes it is possible to make mathematical models of stars. I don't understand your additional details as your English grammar is too poor to comprehend. Perhaps you should post in your native language in the appropriate language forum or ask a native English speaker who knows your language to translate for you. Sorry I can't be more help.
- Q: secure myself with a seat belt, have a car with air bags, safety glass, collapsable steering column, etc. And still pay outrageous insurance premimums, even though I have never been at fault in an accident. But people with motorcycles get to drive around with no helmets, no safety clothing requirements, loud pipes, and their insurance is nowhere near what I pay. I think their insurance should be ten times what a car owner pays. What do you think?
- There is very little you can do without that ferrule (sleeve). They are very inexpensive.
- Q: ive been too many demo derbys but this time im competing in one. what all do i need to do?? i know i have to get a car and wear a helmet but what else??? thanks
- I guess they have a right to ride at night. Some people don't have driver licenses and have to use a bicycle to get to and from work even at night. I remember one time around here a few years ago a woman was killed on a bicycle. She was on her way home from work at 3 AM and her driver license was suspended. 2 idiots were drag racing on the road she was on and one car hit her. I understand it's scary seeing a bicycle like that. They should not wear dark clothes and wear reflective clothes and have a light. As long you drive a safe speed, keep your eyes open, you should be fine. To answer your question, I don't think they should purposely ride at night unless they have some place to go.
- Q: What are the national standards for pipe connections (R (PT)) with tapered tubes at both ends? Thank you
- 60 degrees taper pipe thread: NPT3/4 "55 degrees taper pipe thread: external thread -R3/4", internal thread -Rc3/4"
- Q: how are electromagnetic waves detected???
- I don't go along with the notion that there are 'age-appropriate' clothes. In the past perhaps there was but the world of fashion has changed and many different styles look good for any generation. The world is now accepting that a person should dress in what ever feels good and does not look totally out of character. Many older seniors look comfortable in what they wear. Others, myself included, also do not have the finances to keep up with the latest styles or even really don't care if others are impressed or not. If anyone does not like it then it is their problem -not mine.
- Q: The other day my boyfriend got home from work and text me, have you been home on lunch? The door is unlocked I said no and automatically panicked, but he said he didn't notice anything missing. I later found about a dozen DVDs missing, a DVD/surround sound package that had been in my closet, and a diamond/amethyst necklace. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I saw his phone bill and he called a local pawn shop that same day. I am going there on my lunch break to look for my items. If I find them, should I ask the clerk to identify my boyfriend by photo as bringing them in, or see if they have video surveillance? I am so upset!
- what happened to the original 90? sounds like it rotted out and the rest of the steel pipe is not far behind.replace the steel with plastic and you will not have to do it again!
