- Q: Regular white light bulb and a red light from an exit sign- What are the primary colors that the light contains? Why?
- A white light bulb contains most of the visible spectrum of light (depends strongly on filament temperature - doubtful will ever see an 'violet' light - see black body radiation reference). The same 'white' light could be created from primary colors by mixing red, green, and blue light with white being defined as equal amounts of each color. The red light for an exit sign could be either a white light that passes through a red filter which blocks the blue and green light, or it could be generated as pure red light by a semiconductor with an appropriate band gap in the substrate to cause only red photons to be emitted.
- Q: How can we increase the speed of light? Are there any known limits on the speed of light? Will refraction or reflection increase the speed of light?
- The special theory of relativity specifies that the speed of light in vaccuum is 3x10e6 m/s and it is the limit. it cannot exceed this limit. however its speed is slowed down when it passes through any other medium depending on the refractive index of the medium with respect to vaccuum. Reflection does not affect the speed of light, only the intensity.

- Ok i've been into arts and crats for a long time so what you can do is buy a floresent light bulb and paint it black only put one coat making the room dark and mysterious i hope this answers your question.
- Q: is it possible??
- Just prepare basin filled with water, it must be large enough to allow you put both your hands, light bulb and bottle in it. You need bottle. Now with scizors poke and cut the twisted aluminium top somewhere in the middle. You will see that aluminium is soft for cutting, and peel it off. You will now have light bulb without aluminium and plastic on top. Next, put light bulb in water in inverted position, then get a screwdriver or scizors and break it from the top, which is now on bottom. Just punch it with scizors. You can also break some more sharp glass leftovers to make wider openning. Now, put filled with water bottle in water so it goes under water and invert it, just like light bulb. Now, reinvert light bulb, so all gas in it will, in the form of bubblesr go in inverted bottle on top (actual bottom). If it isn't coming out, try punching and shaking it. Or push the gas with scizors to enable it to go out. Eventually l.bulb will be filled with water and gas in bottle. In that position close the botle. Done.

- Interesting question. Light behaves a bit like both matter and energy. Not only is it slowed down by media, its refraction displays that various wavelengths are slowed down by different amounts. We could think of that as something akin to friction.

- video okorder / I know some people who have used flood lamps at the hardwood store; however those lights always seemed textured to me and provide a poor quality of llight. The reflective dimples show up in the video. Sometimes it can make the skin look scaley. I don't recommend the flood lights.

- In general LED lights themselves can be fairly inexpensive. It what you plan on using them for that can rack up the cost. For example, Emergency Vehicle lights are LED but still fairly expensive. - Toyota has the same thing. Usually this means the alternator is bad. I feel that this is alternator related. Have your alternator and battery checked at your local auto parts store.
