Q: Communist/Socialist. Like the old Europe stuff. I have looked through the coat of arms for those countries and they all depict something having to do with work I suppose. I mean like farming tools, nuclear power plants, factories, electric poles, telephone towers, telegram lines, and so on.I mean like I think its interesting.
The old symbolism had to do with animals and various heraldic symbols that were passed down from the old hierarchies. Communism wanted to create an equal society with no hierarchies, so their symbolism had to do with the low-class workers. Perhaps a better symbol would be the fried chicken and vodka the beauracratic fat-cats consumed while starving the Ukrainians, but whatever.
Q: What were two results of the use machinery? Answer it!?
Efficiency and cheaper end cost
Q: And all the major uses for them? Thanks :) 10 points to the best answer.
Just about every machine that has a motor uses belts. There are a few applications that have a direct drive, but most have belts. Even some motorcycles and nearly all motorscooters.are belt driven.
Q: The development trend of mechanical specialty
In fact, during the University, mainly to lay the foundation of the process, the usual professional courses learned well, in the future work to benefit from infinity. I am not very familiar with fluid machinery, learning is mechanical design, but I feel mechanical professional is interlinked.
Q: we were cutting trees in the woods behind my house today and we found this old piece of tobacco farming machinery but have no clue what it does or what it is for.
Not sure maybe a sail reaper
Q: kinda thinking mills, maybe a conveyor belt... and i'm curious about making a steam engine (running on liquid nitrogen).thoughts? some ww2 guy wanted to build an aircraft carrier out of pykrete (ice 14% sawdust)
try a hotel ;-). If you live in or are going to a cold climate, an ice house could be useful. You could give it power with the steam engine, and use the electricity to run a small heater, xbox, and other necessities. (i don't think a fridge would be necessary) I heard some dude actually made a working ice house like that, but it ran on solar power.
Q: When a crematorium, for instance, which is not an industrial building but requires heavy machinery, is constructed, are the environmental systems, like HVAC and mercury abatement systems, or the actual furnaces themselves brought to site in pieces and assembled at first fix stage or put in place before the roof or slab above goes on? Or are they just serviceable by a separate large entrance?
Large entrance is best. Long ago setting equipment then constructing the walls was a common practice. When the original machines need to be replaced it is a problem.
Q: What would havehappened if the machinery were sold for less than itsbook value?
You would have a loss.
Q: how have you seen the heavy machinery industry change over the last years, and how do you think it'll change in the next 10 years?, specifically with respect to concrete mixers and asphalt production. in U.S. and other countries.
I just got out of that line of work... grade construction, actually. The biggest thing I've noticed... you remember all the immigrants who came over here and started work as laborers or doing the dirty work? Well those guys pretty much run all the machines now. I'm not trying to sound racist, but the problem there is that they're willing to work for far less money than a lifelong U.S. citizen. That makes companies not want to hire as many of us. Why would they? They're saving money.
Q: Why are hydraulic systems used in machinery such as bulldozers and backhoes, while pneumatic systems are used for things like opening and closing bus doors? Please provide a lot of detail, and examples!
Liquid is more dense than air; therefore it is easier to generate more power with hydraulic. This results in smaller systems to give you the equiv. power. It is also more reliable, as well as more forgiving.
