Q: Will the moving angle of the air conditioner indoor be harmful to the connecting pipe joint?
Rest assured that the cooling pipes of the air conditioner are all made of copper pipes. No hard bending will cause great impact on them
Q: I have 5 1/8 x 3 x 36 in sheets of balsa wood, and I need to make a boat that will move by itself using rubberbands, and I need some help. Any ideas? Thank you.
God is omnipotent. The god can make giant piles of crap disappear, but cannot wipe childhood cancer off the face of the earth? I don't think so. New myth: He had an elevator that lifted the animals poop to the top deck where the rain washed it away. That's where they get the term poop deck. It had nothing to do with the French word for stern.. That's just a coincidence. More importantly, why did the god drown all the innocent children and babies in the world? Seems a tad extreme.
Q: Many houses are lost again in this fire in Sta. Barbara. What the firefighters doing there with empty trucks(no water) and how about the fire hydrants close to those houses. Dont they have fire hydrants. Its a law to have those close to residentials. This is too much of an overtime by the firefighters.
Since petrochemicals are class B fires, an extinguisher capable of extinguishing this type works best, specifically a CO2 or dry chemical extinguisher (look for either a BC or ABC type).
Q: does anyone know what the lights are called at a zebra crossing and why they are called that?
I'm assuming you mean a portrait or a tabletop shoot anything else is well beyond what you can do in the average home. Here's a cheap but effective home portrait studio: - Hang a sheet on the wall (well behind the subject so it'll be blurry) - Buy a couple of pieces of white foamcore (art supply store) to use as reflectors (put aluminum foil on them for even more reflection) - Put a bounce-head flash on your camera and set it to bounce light off the ceiling - Place the reflectors to give the effect you want. You can also bounce light off them - Another alternative is to buy a couple of 250-watt shop lamps, but I find they generate far too much heat and require color correction For tabletop, your best bet is to buy a Light Tent. They cost a bit but they'll solve all your lighting worries. Hope this helps.
Q: Started at about 2am, the smoke alarm would go off for about 5 seconds, just to wake everyone up. Now, it went off again, same deal, about 5 seconds. I checked the furnace, it was off since midnight last night. I am not experiencing any signs or symptoms of CO poisoning. I check on my dog every 30 minutes or so, he is alert and have perfect coordination. What does it mean, usually the alarm last a lot longer when we bake. All my smoke detectors are linked together, the house was built in 2004.
to allow for pipe fittings and cutting. I think. Kind of like when I was hauling 60 foot wood beams. They were cut to 61ft
Q: A firefighter friend of mine has this question. If they had a tank 8'diam x 13' long with a 6 diam line from it down to the ground, what would the flow be when they open the valve? The bottom of the tank would be 11' off the ground, it is a gravity fed system. Assume two 90s for fittings, standard cs pipe (if required), I don't need it to the thousandth of a gpm :)a) What is the flow (gpm) from the tank when full?b) What is the flow (gpm) from the tank with 1 of level?c) What is the time to empty the tank completely (starting from full)? Thanks all.
use compression or push fit fittings with stainless steel braided flexible connectorsmuch easier and way less work
Q: How to compile the welding technology of 12CrlMoVG header and pipe joint
The No. 20 steel pipe wall thickness 3~4mm, filling material available TIGJ50 (for 12Cr1 MoV, available 08CrMoV), tungsten rod diameter 2mm, 75~100A welding current and arc voltage of 12~14V, gas flow 8~10L/min, power supply for dc.
Q: What safety equipment do you have at home for science experiments? What safety equipment should you have at home to conduct science experiments? How can you protect yourself while experimenting in science? How does OSHA protect you at your workplace?
yes it can but you have to purchase the premium version it provides with all kind of security
Q: Lets say i am in 5th gear, i see some traffic ahead of me that is moving but its just really slow. I will downshift to 2nd, but i sometimes feel like the car is going to stall because it is going so slow. I do not want to full stop because the traffic IS moving, and i do not downshift to 1st. What do you normally do in this situation. It happens a lot to me during stop SIGNS. when i am waiting in line at stop SIGNS.another question is speed bumps: lets say i am in 2nd gear and i approach a speed bump. i start braking but as soon as i hit the speed bump my car starts to shake and rumble. should i press the clutch in as i go over speed bumps and just re-accelerate in the same gear? or what?
i have to wear a face mask(1: im a goalie 2: i play on 14 and under) unless their wearing a face mask it seems pretty high.even with the mouth guard
Q: i was recently in a car wreck and the airbags went off. i heard you are supposed to throw the clothes you were wearing away. is it safe to continue to wear them?
I'm not sure what kind of water piping you have in your house. If it's copper pipe and the leak is on the actual pipe itself, you can repair the leak with push together fittings (shark bite, pro bite, there are many brands just ask your clerk at your local hardware store). Since this is on your tub I'm guessing this is a half inch pipe and will take 1/2 inch fittings. Most of these fittings have been approved for permanent use and will last years to come. If your piping is galvenized, I would suggest using what is called a pipe repair clamp. This is a stainless steel saddle that has a rubber inside that clamps around the hole in the pipe. This will temporarily fix a leak on a galvenized system and most hardware stores carry these in 4 lengths to 6 lengths. I would strongly suggest having a repipe done with new copper or pex piping as soon as you can. *note* To cut out the hole in a copper system, you will need a copper tubing cutter. These pipes are generally in hard to access places so I would by a very small cutter, often referred to as a thumb cutter. If the leak is on a fitting, you are best to just call your plumber out. Depending on your area, most plumbers can fix easily accessible leaks on copper systems in the ball park of $100. Good luck!
