- Q: I picked out this phone on the T-Mobile website, and it won't let me check out. I think it will only let me check out if I choose a monthly rate plan, but I don't need one. - No you cannot buy just the phone without a new line of service on the T-Mobile website, in other words you will be buying the cell phone/Device at retail price. Also you cant go to a t-mobile retail store and buy just the phone either, they're no allowed to sell you the phone on the spot as because its only for customers activating a new line of service with them. You would have to order it from t-mobile thru the store have it mailed to you, also you can check local cell phone retailers who sell unlocked cell phones, or a walmart store as they carry some of the newest T-mobile phones (G1, Blackberry, Sidekick, Behold Etc) Another option would be OKorder or Craigslist. - hello, i'm with 3, i've got been with them for over 6 years now. you would be waiting to get a reliable telephone on an 18 month plan. on the 2d i'm on a 2 twelve months plan, ?20 a month. i'm getting 1mb internet allowance a month, endless texts, endless 3 to 3 minutes and 500 minutes to any community/landline. And that renews each month. i've got in no way had any problems with them, and consistently stumbled on the shopper help very reliable. desire that helps. xx

- After 6 weeks of not having cell phone service it bothers me because I got so use to calling from anywhere on cell phone. Then I always have to remember the Very high cost just to talk and when put on hold your prime time minutes are just eaten away. Land line service to me is very cheap. Long and short distance unlimited at $33- via Comcast I can't beat. My only drawback is I have to be home for calls.
