Q: I want to get Virgin Mobile, but their option list of cell phones are limited. I know that you can buy other phones and still use VM with it. Problem is, I don't know what phones I can use! If someone could tell me the names of phones i can use, id be very grateful! I'm interested in Anroid and Blackberry phones
You can buy any CDMA phone (Verizon, Sprint, Metro, Boost) and flash it for Metro PCS service. You cannot buy GSM phones (ATT or T-Mobile) since these are built on a different technology. Caution, regular flash will allow you to use phone for talk and text. However, if you want to use data services such web or email you will need to fully flash the phone.
Q: i tried using 1800-reverse on my mobile hone today because i had no credit and it didn't work, when i got home i tried on my LAN-phone and it worked. i live in south Australia, is there a different number for mobiles?
No,it just because there isnt yet any agreement between 1800reverse and mobile phone inc for such the service and the mobile phone inc apply the very simple TOS,no credit no call. Soon if they both has agreement (if they want) the mobile phone inc will get the money from 1800reverse for your call. And thats NO money NO connection.
Q: What is the specific content of the three bags?
Purchase within 15 days, found fault, take the above method can go to the dealer that replace the new machine;
Q: how is mobile phone modelled
The mobile phone is a radio transciever just like a walkie talkie. The only difference is that it is duplexed (meaining you don't have to push a button to talk) it is using a reserved fequency and is communicating (for the most part) digitally with data packets instead of a broadcast analog signal. When you place a call, your phone sends a signal to the tower asking for permission to connect to the cellular network. The tower assigns your phone (if you are a subscriber in its database, that is) a frequency and time slot to send it's data packets on. The time slots rotate very fast; many times per second. And as you talk, your phone records what you say, turns it into a digital data packet and when the time slot is right, it fires the packet to the cell tower. The cell tower then sends the data packet down a T1 line or over a microwave link to a switch which then sends the data packet to another cell tower and to the person on the other mobile phone. The other person's mobile phone receives the data packet and plays the data back as an audio sound. Needless to say that all this is happening so fast that we are usually inable to detect it with our ears. But on occasion when you get in a place with bad coverage and your connection sounds choppy, what you are hearing are data packets that have gotten lost somehow. I hope that is not too technical. I tried to keep it in layman's language.
Q: I heard that T-mobile phones are compatible with Boost SIMsAnyone know if this is true?
uhm im pretty sure its gona work, as long as its unlocked. just try it what do you got to lose.
Q: How to identify oppo phone true and false?
OPPO mobile phone has a separate internal [electronic security card] function, this function is generally found in the toolbox, if all places can not find, may be fake!
Q: i have a virgin mobile phone and i was on the website and i saw that they have better phones in other countries and i mean way better phones. i was wondering if i can use one of those in usa.
no, okorder
Q: If so please mention themAnd also could you tell me what phone I should get from T-Mobile please and thank you.
In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.
Q: Bluetooth headsets for mobile phones
bluetooth headset and mobile phone goes hand in hand. you can't activate bluetooth without the phone. but using bluetooth headset is better than grabbing your phone at your pocket to answer a call. there is a button on the headset and once you receive a call, just press it and start to talk. press it again after the conversation. there is also a limit of distance wherein you can place your cellphone at the table while you have the bluetooth in you. mine has a distance limit of 10meters away on clear area wherein i can receive the call even if the mobile is a bit away from me. depending on the type of your bluetooth headset. *please be aware that during driving car, you cannot use it as police officers will pull you over if you do so. just like you cannot use the cellphone too.
Q: A message has been posted on my mum's workplace notice board saying that if you don't have a mobile phone signal dialing 112 will still connect you to the emergency services.Does anyone know if this is true or a hoax? I have found something online about it but it was from 6 years ago. If anyone has a link to any mobile phone company's website in the UK that says it's false which I can print off for my mum to take to work would be appreciated.Thanks.
A mobile phone is a radio device. Hence, if there is really no signal at all, it cannot work: it cannot communicate with the base station, for any purpose. On the other hand, when the network is overloaded the system will often refuse normal calls and prioritise emergency numbers. When this happens my phone shows 'Emergency only' - if it says 'No signal' it is totally out of contact. It is possible that some phones are programmed to show 'No signal' when they will still accept emergency calls. Check with your provider.
