- Depends on what kind of bed you are wanting to get. A wooden bed will cost more than a metal one, the price will also depend on the style of the bed. I would gather anywhere from $100 to $500 dollars for a decent bed. I would find a price you think you can afford and then look from there. My husband and I bought a new bed and matresses not to long ago, ours is queen. But the bed itself cost of $800 but its a really big and nice wood bed, the matress, well that was a WEEE bit more..lol Good luck on the bed hunt
