- yeah go for it! has to be a genuine tot bed that is very low to the floor with a side rail. My son out grew his cot about 18 mths straight to a single bed. now hes 3 in a double bed of his own! lol

- My mom sprinkled pepper around the outer edges to keep her cat out of her flower beds. Worth a try. As for dogs, watch to make sure that it isn't someone who is walking their dog, some people will allow their pet to do their business in flower beds...rude! Anyway, if they are step out and nicely ask them to please quite doing that, if that doesn't work then, remind them that they are trespassing.

- I think the problem is that your rectangle box spring is broken. That happened to me and you can fix it with strong tape or buy a new one for $150. New ones are more comfortable, though so its up to you. Hope this helps :) P.S. I am new to Yahoo Answers.

Of course, this does not happen with every case but it's better to be on the safe side...
