Made from 100% recyclable materials, CMAX epoxy cast iron pipe systems are not only environmental friendly, but also satisfy many properties necessary to withstand the aggressive conditions both internal and external of the pipes and fittings: these properties include its excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, impact and fire. CMAX also has low noise transmission compared to common UPVC drainage pipe systems. CMAX is designed as long lasting building materials.
Standard:
CMAX epoxy cast iron pipe systems with nominal size between 40-300mm comply with BS EN 877.BS EN 877 guarantees the quality of the materials, dimensions and tolerances, mechanical properties(like water pressure, tensile strength and brinell hardness) appearance, and the standard coating for the epoxy cast iron pipes, fittings and couplings.
Strength:
Iron is well known for its strength and abrasion resistance. The shape and impact strength of CMAX products are unchanged under exposure of sunlight and weathering, while UPVC and PVC pipes would soften, deform and become brittle under intense temperature change.
Quiet:
CMAX’s sturdy and dense properties reduce pipe vibration a silent drainage system.Studies had proven iron is the quietest material out of all other common drainage system.
Non-Toxic and Non-Combustile:
No toxic gas will be emitted from CMAX in the event of fire. Iron is also non-combustile,so epoxy cast iron pipes and fittings are recoverable after fire.
Anti-Corrosive:
All CMAX epoxy cast iron pipes and fittings are internally and externally finished with corrosive resistant epoxy coating to prevent fouling and corrosion. The epoxy on CMAX epoxy cast iron pipes and fittings provides an excellent exterior under humid and tropical conditions.
Coupling:
Lightweight couplings are specially engineered to guarantee a strong, quick and easy connection between CMAX pipes and fittings. Made from stainless steel with rubber gaskets, the coupling match pipe and fittings non-corrosive properties.
- Q: I live in Knoxville, TN, and I am currently working on by bachelors of accounting with a minor in finance at the University of Tennessee. It has always been my dream to work in real estate, but I don't want to rely solely on a real estate license in today's economy. So, what kind of jobs are out there for those with a real estate license and a business degree as well? And what duties would these jobs consist of? Please be specific! Thanks :)
- If you have a degree - or any other qualification - then you'll already be ahead of the masses when it comes to hunting for jobs. My buddy has a degree and he wasn't sure what direction to go with it, but he unearthed some good tips on the website in the resource box below which helped him to settle that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is loads of guidance on the website regarding other jobs.
- Q: I am thinking of going to school and getting my bachelors for Real Estate, but I am not sure if they make enough? Anyone know?
- Real estate fees vary when you sell a home.. most realtor take a percentage of anywhere from 4-6% and then when the home sells.. the realtors (both buyer and seller) split the proceed per whatever the buyers proceed request is. For example: You sell a home for $400,000: The real estate commission is 4%.. then the total commission is $16,000 buyers realtor would get: $8,000 sellers realtor would get: $8,000 A realtor can make really good money, depending on how savvy and experienced they become. It also depends on the market.. and with a market like we are having now, I have seen a lot of them forced to make ends meet in other ways. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
- Q: how much money has anyone made in the past year doing real estate in North Carolina? full time or part time. and how much money do you put in yearly? i really want to do real estate but i want to know what i am getting myself into before i begin. thanks...
- I'm not a real estate agent, but when I moved down here from NY a couple years ago I couldn't meet anyone who DIDN'T have a relative selling real estate. I tried working with 6 different ones of them. None listened to me about what I wanted. They all kept pushing their own ideas trying to put me in a development. I thought the agents in NY were bad (from a consumer's point of view), but let me tell you - YOU DON'T KNOW BAD. They are what drove me to start doing my own searching for a home, signing with a custom builder only working with a realtor, under duress, to find the right lot to build on. The other answerer is right. Go into one of the many medical fields opening up as all the baby boomers get older. At least you know that will be an industry that will expand over the next 20 years or so.
- Q: What other ways of making money there are in a real estate company, besides selling? If I don't make any sale, will I be able to make some income working at the office?Thank you
- There are options available such as: * You can work at a new home site office. Developers need people to staff a new community and answer questions that the visitors may have. There may be limited opportunity for this in FL because of the current economic/new housing situation, but it may be worthwhile to investigate. You are paid hourly for this job. There are are staffing companies that can hire you for this job. * You can work in leases instead of selling. This can be done with your current license and the local MLS. * Jobs should be available at apartments; you could work as a manager or an associate. * You can probably diversify into commercial real estate and do the same thing as above i.e. leasing out commercial properties. * If you already have some experience, jobs should be available at corporations such as real estate developers, investment companies, and ancillary industries. You do not necessarily have to sell real estate in these jobs -- you could use your experience to get into areas such as marketing. Hope this helps. It may also be good to google and see what other options might be available.
- Q: Hi, I'm trying to buy a restaurant right now. I already signed the purchase agreement. So far I don't have my own agent. The agent hired by the seller tells me what to do next. That is because this agent told me that since the purchase price of the restaurant is kind of low, I shouldn't hire my agent. Well she said so, so I didn't hire anyone, and I thought she is going to help me for every little thing as my agent as well because she is getting double commission. But she is not doing as well as i expected. When I ask help for something she simply tells me to figure out by myself. Also, i talked with restaurant owners about my situation, they all say I should have my agent. So I want to hire my own real estate agent But I don't know if I can do so now. I already signed the purchase agreement, and escrow is about to open. Is it too late to hire my own agent?? Someone help me!!!
- If you signed an agreement that said she represents you or that you agree to not have representation throughout this process than you probably can't hire anyone. Take a copy of your agreement to a reputable real estate office like Long and Foster and read over it with some one. They will explain the representation options, or lack of options to you. For future reference... the sellers agent is hired to do everything for the benefit of the seller. In fact helping you would put her in breach of her fiduciary responsibilities to her client. You got a bad deal in that area. Take your agreement and have it looked at as soon as possible.... Next time hire your own agent (a buyers agent) who's job it will be to protect you from exactly this kind of situation. Good Luck PS-- missmis is right look for the part of your agreement that talks about agency disclosure. You may have agreed to dual agency-- and call her broker...yes!
- Q: Im looking to be a real estate agent. I plan to begin school soon to get my license. I have done alot of reading on real estate agents and the very high failure rate amoung new comers. I have always worked with people in all my jobs and I have always been a giver. I know also the area I live in within the next couple of years will be a sellers market, and there is great chance to make some money. I do understand you dont just jump into this making money and it might be a very long time before I get a pay check. My main concern is getting my name out there i just moved here about a few months ago so I dont know very many people and being a 23 year old women Im nervous about anyone wanting to work with me since im not so expierenced. Then again my next thought is " Well isnt that how everyone beings? My father since I remember has been a real estate agent till latley and he still is in sales but does real estate on the side can you do it part-time? I read that it isnt possible.
- Sure it's a good idea to get your license and you can even work as a home agent in the beginning. Many companies will let you hang your license at the office and work 95% from home. Just get good home office equipment with computer and internet access and you'll be good to go. If you look at Real Estate like you're starting your own business, and pursue it as such, you'll be in good shape. In the 1st several months consider working a 2nd job until the money comes in. Start a low-cost website and include the address on EVERY item you pass along. Start farming an area you want to get listings in immediately. Dropping flyers at 200 houses 2-3 days a week is good when starting out. Give your business card to everyone, and send out a intro letter by mail to everyone in your sphere of influence (all colleagues, friends, their friends, family, etc.).....even those out of state. If you work hard and excel in this market, imagine how well you'll do when it picks up! Good luck!
- Q: I am looking to become a real estate appraiser but I do not have a real estate license, will one be required? Also I live in Jacksonville Florida and want to know which is the best school to attend that offer the best training
- to educate yourself on these changes. Best of luck!!
- Q: I majoring in economics and I wanted to minor in real estate because that's ultimately what I want to end up doing, but my school doesn't offer the minor anymore, though I'm still allowed to take the classes. I know I don't need a BA degree but I want to have something to back me up and I feel as though I'd feel more accomplished. I don't have the time to take the classes right away to get my real estate license and work as one during school but I want to get as much experience as possible and learn the ropes. I contacted a few real estate agents in my area and all but one has returned my call and even they are not looking for an unlicensed assistant. I'm looking to move to southern California after graduation and would love to find out as much as possible about that market before I go out there. Does anyone know of any internship opportunities out there or in PA? Any advice would help, Thanks.
- Real estate brokers and agents would not use the term Internship to describe what you are offering. That is why they were not interested. There are 2 avenues that could work. YOu agree to work for no salary for one month. YOu go on appointments with a successful agent.... and in return, you do small jobs like putting up For Sale signs and removing lockboxes (with house keys inside) from sold houses. The 2nd month you could get a small salary because the agent now knows that you will work hard. Or you go to work as an assistant for $1,500 a month. You are a paid employee. You will answer calls and pass out flyers and go to meetings as well as put up signs. You will be more like a secretary but you will get paid for your work. Decide which one you want and call 100 agents. Or visit them as they hold Open Houses.
- Q: I'm just wondering a how a young solo can position himself in the real estate law.
- As a new law school graduate pursuing a real estate lawyer career, let’s say a client comes into your office regarding a real estate sale or purchase of a building. A number of things have already occurred behind the scenes without your involvement; usually, the buyer and the seller either know each other previously from working in the real estate business, or brokers have introduced the two parties. Further, in many cases the brokers have already drafted a “term sheet” reflecting the basic business terms of the deal. If the brokers have not drafted the term sheet you should do so because brokers will often not clearly draft the terms of the deal, and it will be easier for you to draft and negotiate the real estate contract if you have already drafted the term sheet..........Real Estate Agent Bendigo
- Q: I'm looking to start investing abroad in Real Estate. I would like to buy properties in other countries say for example Japan where the Dollar is worth a lot and either rent these properties out and collect a steady profit, or selling them. My question is how do I go about doing this, does anyone have any advice, book suggestions, anything really? I'd very much appreciate it thank you.
- Usually, you'll need to have access to considerable capital to invest in commercial (anything that makes you money) property abroad. I'm talking several million dollars or more. You'll have to engage a real estate lawyer, a realtor, and a broker in these foreign lands. They aren't going to mess with any one with small potatoes, so you're going to have to bring all your chips to the table. Too risky for them to do otherwise. You also usually have to have a partner who is a national of that country, as foreigners typically cannot own property in most places outright (100% on their own). The question is, will you trust that person with your investment? There are many horror stories of how people lost their life savings doing this type of thing. Usually an individual will not be able to tolerate this level of risk. Stick with the typical domestic investments and keep more of your money - stocks, bonds, funds, etc.
