Q: Could someone please state some real life applications for Mobile phones and PDA's. Cant find any on the web thanks!
Mobile phones can apparently be used to make telephone calls -- or so I'm told.? PDAs are useful for keeping a list of appointments, etc., and providing reminders of them.? There are many other uses of them, probably all real life.? I actually can't think of any uses that aren't real life, now that I come to think about it!
Q: i need a cheap but nice virgin mobile phone, any reccomendations?
depends if ur looking for prepaid phones or plan phones? the cheapest virgin prepaid we carry at my store is $60. i would recomend supertab tho honestly, plus virgins plans start at 20dollars and all theyre plans include unlimited texting and all the minutes r long distance. check out their website :) sorry for phone ideas the galaxy 550 (touch screen) or the galaxy 551 (touch screen + slide keyboard) r good phones and not to expensive. or theres the.lg rumor if u wanna keep it real simple again just head to their website, u can see their full line up
Q: Discussion on Positive and Negative Impacts on Mobiles Phones.Please help me :D
apparently they give out too much radiation. can give you tumors and lose sperm count. alot of new phones fail saftey standard.
Q: I have an old crap phone and I want a new phone on contract.I'm not really bothered on minutes but I would like unlimited texts and some sort of internet.I would want it to be ?10 a month or under.I've seen places like Mobile .uk which offer 13 months free line rental but I've read reviews and it doesn't seem great. I would like a BlackBerry Curve 5820 or something cool like that.Anyone seen any deals or should I just try haggling on the phone?
A pay as you go mobile phone does what it says on the tin. You can buy credit for as much talk and text time as you need with vouchers, swipe cards and in some cases from cash machines. It suits those whose mobile usage varies month on month, or individuals who need a phone for emergencies. Although easier to monitor how much you are spending, pay as you go mobiles can work out more expensive than contract if you make regular, lengthy calls. You also have to buy your own handset, which, for the top of the range models, can set you back several hundred pounds. Monthly contract A minimum contract is usually 12-18 months, so you have to be prepared to commit to a line rental and monthly payments for at least that length of time. However, deals can start from as little as ?9 a month. You get more minutes and messages for your money when paying monthly, and usually a few free bonus extras, such as a handset or broadband. It may sound obvious, but make sure you’re absolutely clear about what you use your phone for before starting your hunt. Like going to the supermarket hungry and overestimating your shopping basket, it’s easy to get swept away by extra mega pixels, mirrored key pads, or gazillions of inclusive video messages that you don’t need.
Q: I want a touch screen T mobile phone that does not require me to subscribe to web access.Does anyone know of a good one?
T Mobile has had many problems with their [phones and network since they found out that they are merging with ATT. I know first hand. Since they know that this merger will go through T Mobile just stop caring. Their goal is to sell as many phones as possible to lock you into a contract. T Mobile has spent millions in legal fees because their employees continue to give out their customer's ssn and pass code. I have the case number for this. I hope that this helps as a great deal of research has gone into this.
Q: What is the meaning of the dual mode of mobile phone?
Single means that is a card in the answer to the phone when another phone card does not come in;
Q: I found this online:If you leave your mobile phone charger plugged into the mains you will use the same amount of electricity whether or not your mobile is being charged. So when you've finished charging your phone unplug your charger!Is it true? Surely if the phone isn't connected, there is no circuit, so no power will be used.?
It does consume energy. Feel it, it will feel warm or even hot. It doesn't use much, but it is still a good idea to not waste this. Unplug it, or buy a power strip and turn off the power strip when it isn't needed.
Q: I do not want a mobile phone, and if I had one, I would not allow text, incoming or outgoing. So how do I get Yahoo to stop asking?
Hello Janet, To further improve the security of Yahoo! accounts, we've been prompting our users to add an optional mobile phone number and/or alternate email address to their Yahoo! account. By providing this info, you'll be alerted of any changes made to your account immediately via your mobile phone and/or alternate email address, and you'll have a quick way to recover your password should you need to in the future. If you do not have a mobile phone number or an alternate email address or would rather not provide that information, or if your country is not currently supported, click Remind Me Later rather than closing your browser window. This will ensure that you won't be asked to provide your mobile phone number or alternate email address again for another two weeks. I hope this helps!
Q: Hi! Urmm. i've got to write a couple of paragraphs about technological development and i was thinking mobile phones but has anyone else got any ideas? could anyone please give me some points for for and against for mobile phones or anything else like that.?

Q: Hello, i am 13 and i am the only one in my class without a phone, i was thinking of buying one, but i heard they are pretty bad for you, i mean the radiation that comes from it so is there a mobile with low radiation ?
Jauke, ask yourself this question: how would any questions posted here be any different or better than the answers you've already heard.
