- Q: looking for light projects
- I may be totally off with this but infinity reminded me of a type of decorative light fixture which was more artsy than a viable light source. The structure was basically a shadow box perhaps 3 inches deep, and in this case it may have been square. At the back of the box was a mirror that fit entirely. Around the inside of the box were what may have been white christmas lights, and the face was glass covered. As I recall the entire structure was painted black. As I'm thinking this however there must have been other mirrors, unless the back of the clear glass front was refelctive to the inside, because what one could see was a series of these lights in a vanishing perspective way. - Q: I have an incandescent hood thingy.2 Normal light bulbs - 13 watts each.
- That would be adequate for low light plants like Java moss and Cryptocorynes. Compact florescent (twisty) bulbs are good replacements in an incandescent hood. They are cheaper to run, produce more light, and emit less waste heat. That heat from an incandescent bulb can damage or even melt plastic near it. See if your pet store has Coralife bulbs. They come in 10 and 20 watt. Even the 10 watt will produce much more light than the 13 watt normal incandescent light bulbs. If you don't find them locally, they are available online from sellers like Aquarium Guys, Big Al's, and ThatPetPlace.
- Q: Is this light suppose to stay on. Same question for Air bag light. This is also stays on. Neither light turns off.
- ETS light is a weird one, need to see what DTC's are set for it if any. For the SIR system, not sure Autozone can read those. Need the higher end scan tool for SIR codes. If the light is on, the fault is current that set the light on. Can be anything, can be fretting or corrosion on the terminals for a specific connector. Need to have a repair shop look at that
- Q: If you need light to see into a mirror can you see yourself with nightvision goggles?
- No. Because nightvision gear provides your eyes with light from another light spectrum we can't normally see otherwise your eyes would have light and you could see yourself in a mirror.

- Well, the color is determined by the wavelength, but I'm not sure whether a. intensities of light or c. amplitudes of light better fits that description.
