Q: Solar panels do good more then bad?
Sure your proper, sunlight panels (photovoltics) could be used to make electricity for small electronics. Proper now sun cells are on many calculators, and even flashlight. However the trouble is the lenght of time the cells take to charge the gadget, verses the vigour demand. I don;t consider the scale of the panels, and the period of time needed to charge the device are sensible. One think i've been thinking is that all should have a photovoltaic panel to charge a battery. Then, use the battery to cost phone telephones, MP3 palyers. The panel and the battery would be in regards to the 8 x eleven inches, and could sit down in window, or on a dash board to get charged, then utilized in doorways over night to charge contraptions.
Q: we are planing to move out of the grid. we need to operate constantly 2 laptops online - does any one can tell us how much solar panels we shall need to make sure of that?

Q: Are there any fire risks associated with solar panels?
Yes, there are fire risks associated with solar panels, although they are relatively rare. The main risk factors include faulty installation, damaged wiring, and electrical malfunctions. However, adherence to proper installation standards, regular maintenance, and the use of high-quality equipment significantly mitigate these risks.
Q: Alright my family and i are buying a new home in Bradford,Ontario, we we thinking about solar panels and had a couple questions:. how much are they each?2. how many will we need to power a single family home(4 ppl)3. where can we find them in ontario?4.how much money do they really save you?5.what kind of energy do they providfe you withand other basic info or a website i can check out would be great!thanks in advance!
I have a system that was installed last year. I have 20 panels which provide me with about 75% of my electricity. I do use less electricity than the average home. I use an average of 45 kwh in the summer, my neighbor uses more than double that. I paid $26K for the system, but I got a $0K rebate from my utility and the US gives a fed. tax credit. I am saving about $2K per year, so it will take just over 6 years to break even. I also have what I think is called net metering, my utility allows my meter to run backwards when I generate more energy than I use, so pretty much the entire time the sun is out in the summer. Having energy efficient appliances, reducing standby energy and using conservative climate control really helps keep my usage down. Weather striping, insulation and clean well maintained systems all help as well.
Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of pollution from industrial activities?
Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of pollution from industrial activities. While pollution can have some impact on the efficiency of solar panels, they are still able to generate electricity even in polluted areas. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the panels may be required to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, installing solar panels in such areas can help offset some of the carbon emissions from industrial activities, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
Q: I want to be more green and if I get the panels will I still have a regular electric bill?
The most cost-effective solution, which the vast majority of new installs use today, is solar alongside the regular power company. That way, you need no batteries, and if the solar array isn't producing enough at any given time, you draw from the electric company. When the array is producing more than you need, instead of just throwing that power away, the power company buys it (usually). In short, yes, you will still have an electric bill, but a smaller one. On our house, the electric bill was a little less than $5 a month, with an end-of-year settlement of an additional $2. How much does it cost? Unfortunately, that's like asking how much personal transportation costs. Some people need a van to transport the kids to soccer, some may get by with a motorcycle, others may need only a bicycle. The best thing is to contact a professional installer to get a quote based on your location and electrical usage. Solar electric does not make financial sense in all areas. Our array cost $2,000 but don't use that as a guide. Yours might be 0 times that, or half that, depending on your area and needs.
Q: Was at home depot today and a Solar City sales man came up to me, offering me free solar panels. He said he could install them on my garage for free, free installation, free panels. Promised me it wouldn't cost me a dime. This is obviously appealing to someone like me who has a $200.00 monthly electrical bill. Now my question is this. Is this a scam? Are there ANY hidden fees or things I should be weary of?- I understand I may not save tons of money, but if I can save even something as low as $20 a month I would be happy. I live in a sunny area and they seem very interested in my garage roof. Any information would be super-helpful, thank you.
Remember, if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is .
Q: Can solar panels be installed on research facilities or laboratories?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on research facilities or laboratories. Solar panels are a viable and sustainable energy solution for these types of buildings, providing clean and renewable power. The installation of solar panels on research facilities or laboratories can help reduce their carbon footprint, lower energy costs, and contribute to a greener and more sustainable environment.
Q: Can solar panels be used for powering wireless charging stations?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power wireless charging stations. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, which can be utilized to charge devices wirelessly through a charging station. This makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly option for providing power to wireless charging stations.
Q: I'm very interested in how solar panels work. I understand the bigger picture of how it can be used for solar heating or as a generator, but I'm lost at the smaller details. Things like: - Could my computer work on solar? It has a 900 watt power supply (this is excluding monitor/speakers) - if a panel is for example, a 60 watt panel, does this mean it will pump 60 watts a second into a battery? - Does solar heating make the water electrified?
