Q: I had my scaffolding piercing done on tuesday (now sunday) and it is still really painful and sore. But my main concern is that the skin under the bar looks like it's being pushed down and the skin is growing around the bar? Is this bad?: Yes it is bad if I looks as if it has the skin growing around it. I would see your piercer about that.

Q: Mine has passed the healing date and i have had another one put in it's been over 2 months since i had it done...but there is still some swelling on the top half of the ear that is pierced...will it go down eventually or is there something wrong with it?: it will eventually go down. industrials can take up to a year to heal. don't worry about it.

Q: Okay well it's been 4 weeks now and I think that the front part is infected I'm not sure. But just next to the piercing there's a bump in my ear and puss comes out, but it's not that much. How can I tell if it is infected? And if it is, is there anything I can do about it? Q: Thinking about getting this peircing done next. I got my first and second peircing on my lobes and neither hurt at all to me (like .5 out of 10). How much does industrial hurt out of 10? Is it a similar pain to lobe peircing? Also how long does it take to heal, until you can take it out and sleep on it?: For me, I'd rate it's pain level at about a 5. Just all depends on how well you tolerate. It's more uncomfortable than getting a lobe piercing, really not that similar. Mine took about about 6-8 months to heal for changing the jewelry, but took like maybe 2-3 months until I was able to sleep on it again. Good luck if you get it.
