Q:Would they be comfortable pulling on the fire alarm at school? What would they think about when they are reaching for the lever and would they be scared? What would you tell them if you were standing there with them? Would you help them or give them detailed instructions or how to pull it? Would you hold their hold and help them? What if the little hammer to break the glass was missing?
The instructor will automatically give you cues. Treat the manequin exactly as you would a human person (as best you can, most don't have arms or legs) so walk through every step from checking the scene for safety, put your gloves on, check for consciousness, and perform the appropriate skill. The instructor will give you cues as you go like the scene is safe, the person does not respond, there is no pulse, 911 has been called. Essentially the goal is to replicate reality as closely as possible, so you will not need to ask questions in most cases. Make sure you are making it VERY clear what you are doing, count seconds and compressions out loud. Sometimes saying what you are doing as you go helps as well, it just makes it easier for the instructor to give you prompts at the right time. If they do not give you a prompt you can look up at them and ask them, but never ask what now? just ask what you find. Make sure you walk through every step from beginning to end, don't skip putting on gloves just because you may not have actual gloves with you, if you don't have them hold up your hands and say I'm putting on my gloves. You should be able to redo a scenario that you do incorrectly once but try to relax, CPR is very basic the reason most people have trouble is because they get nervous and try to move too fast. Take your time, know your skills and here are a few things that most people forget: Check the scene for safety/put on gloves!!! Calling 911 Checking for pulse Re-opening the airway if initial breaths do not go in These things may seem fairly easy to remember but they are the most common things I see forgotten when people do their scenarios.
Q:Hey I was wondering if I could us a silicone cake pan as a resin mold? Any thoughts? Also where can I get a cheap cake sized silicone heart shaped pan? Thanks!
I'm a lineman so ill let a safety answer your question about coverage technique but as far as tackling goes try and put your head in front of the ball carrier's hip and wrap him up. Having your head and bulk of your body weight in his path helps break momentum. Also if you wear gloves your hands may slip and it seems to be harder to grab jerseys and whatever. Fundamentals. As far as nerves go there's not much to say except that its in your head. The worst thing that happens is you miss a play. Big deal. Don't anticipate until you learn the game better. Just react to the opposing player. You gotta long time to play so don't get down on yourself now. Look at frosh ball as a learning experience.
Q:Howard was hit in the eye vs the Celtics which caused his eye to turn red and affect him while on court. Howard said he tried to wear the goggles during a warm-up and said he didn't like it. Tonight, the Magic are playing the Clippers. So, should Howard wear them for safety or just play without them?
Safety is key in paintball. We wear head and eye protection, gloves are also pretty standard kit. If somebody loses an eye, it's because they raised their mask during a game. Something that will get you instantly ejected from any field for one game or kicked for good if you keep doing it. Ball velocities are regulated and constantly checked to make sure they're at or below 300 fps for outdoor and 250 fps for indoor. Statistically paintball is safer than bowling. The most serious injuries I've seen were sprains and torn ligaments fro getting caught on underbrush playing outdoors or sliding into a bunker. It's much safer than many other extreme sports. That being said, it's a very hard business to make any money at. I've been playing for twenty years.
Q:What are the safety protective equipment in chemical gloves
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) glovesPVC gloves on a large number of water-soluble chemical substances, such as acid, alkali and other protective effect, but not the protection of solvent and other organic substances, because many solvents will cause the plasticizer dissolution, not only will cause pollution, but also greatly reduce the barrier function of gloves. 4, neoprene glovesNeoprene gloves are almost as comfortable as natural rubber. For petrochemical products, lubricants have a good protective effect, can resist ozone and ultraviolet radiation, in addition, it has a strong anti-aging properties.
Q:has any1 ever accedentaly pulled a fire alarm?
1. Wear Safety Glasses 2. Know where the power switches are to turn the machine on and off 3. Don't wear loose/baggy clothing while operating 4. Wear gloves while in use 5. Wear an apron to prevent damaging of clothing. 6. Wear close toed shoes as to not drop the machine on your feet. 7. Don't wear bracelets or stuff that could get caught in machines. 8. Pay close attention to what you're doing, don't look away while the machine is still running. 9. Keep hands away from the place you are working on. 10. Keep hair tied up while operating. You can mix them up, I was just thinking of safety precautions from when I took woodshop.
Q:How can i clear a corner without hitting the fire hydrant?
do you have a workers union?
Q:Does anyone know how a rotary printing press is made and how it works?
It is probably up to each employee if he/she wants to wear gloves or not, unless it stipulates in an employee handbook or rulebook. What label says that bleach cannot be mixed with detergent ? That happens every day when people wash their clotheslook carefully at the labels of the cleaning products you are using for that restriction
Q:I have a windows 7 desktop computer. I have a standard account on it, when i try to activate the administrator or SYSTEM users to get myself to an administrator to install some programs onto my computer, it says access denied! Please tell me how to activate an account! (i lost the installation dvd)
The link tells how to make your own mirror. Good luck.
Q:the ones where they come out and your suppose to stop until they go back under ground? some idiots dont never stop and tear the bottom of the car up! lolz
If you want safety: Set of triangles (3 in a box), jumper cables, LED flashlight, emergency blanket, work gloves and a safety vest. If your BF is a motorhead, a roadside tool set - pliers, cutters, sockets, screwdrivers, mechanic gloves, etc. But get the good ones (sears or snap-on, don't get the dollar store cheapies) If he is more of a looks before mechanicals type of guy, get a gift certificate for local car wash - like a total inside and outside wash and wax per month for a year.
Q:Well, I live in a city and our houses are SERIOUSLY 3 feet apart i swear! -_- Anyways I want a garden, simply cause i love fresh food and i like to know where and how my food is grown, i dont trust unlabeled food, many foods are Genetically modified..Anyway, I have made the decision to use my basement as an indoor garden. I have everything ready and planned but i need a little help on the power part of this. I will soon purchase six (6) 1000watt light systems. (Bulbs, Ballast, lighting unit, etc.) So, my question is. Does that turn into 6000watts? and what do i need to do to run this? This is the light i am getting. I am buying two of these kits, (Because I need 6 lights in total)
whenever u feel cold on that time wear gloves thatsall..
