HV shunt capacitor is shunt connected with AC power electric system PF (50Hz or 60Hz) equals and above 1kV, which is used to improve the power factor and voltage quality, reduce line loss, and implement the efficiency of power generation and supply.

Structure characteristics
It uses double-piece coarsening polypropylene film to keep good impregnation. Components do edge-fold convex structure to reduce partial discharge and improve polarity board insulation’s electric field distribution.
Crimping high-strength porcelain bushing with high hermetically sealed performance is applied to capacitor bushing. The welding between bushing and case is with argon arc welding with higher mechanical strength and hermetically sealed characteristics.
Case is made of stainless steel plate, treated through shot blasting and then painting by robots. Surfaces are beautiful with strong anti-corrosion feature.
