Main Parts of Building Hoist
1. Adopts the most advanced VF speed control device and microcomputer programmable logic controller.
2. Stepless speed control helps eliminate the concussion during start up and braking, steady the operation process, and ensures automated leveling.
3. Adopts open loop V/Fcontrol; the speed control precision can reach ±2~3%. Realizes accurate low speed positioning of the hoist and avoid slipping during downward stopping of hoist.
4. The VF system has current-restriction function, ensuring a small current when motor start up and reducing the concussion to power supply. It reduces the engery consumption and mitigates effects to on site electric equipments.
5. The steadiness during running mitigates concussion to mechanical parts, reduces wears of rack, pinion and the brake and prolongs the spare parts'life.
6. The VF system also has the over voltage protection, low voltage protection, overcurrent, overload and anti-stalling protection functions,
7. The system applies the special software for hoists developed by our company, making the operation more safe and reliable.

FAQ of Building Hoist
Q: What is the building hoist main purpose?
A: Building hoist equipped with double or single cabin to transport the materials and labors up and down. It's the ideal construction equipment for vertical transportation in the field of construction.
Q: What is the main structure of building hoist?
A: The P/M construction hoist mainly contains metal structure, driving system, electrical control system, cable guide & protection system, electrical top crane and safety device.
Q: What is the meaning of the building hoist’s code?
A: Take SC200/200 for example: “SC” stands for rack and pinion hoist, “200/200” stands for double cage and capacity is 2 tons per cage. “SC200” stands for single cage and capacity is 2 tons.
Q: What is the dimension of the cage?
A: Normally the cage dimension is 3X1.5X2.5M (L/W/H) for 2t type hoist. Details should be checked according to our quotation sheet. Also, the size can be customized according to the factual site condition. There are two doors (entrance & exit doors) for each cage, It can be produced as up & down sliding or ramping model for safety and convenience.
- Q: Is it possible to utilize a building hoist for lifting materials during demolition projects?
- <p>While a building hoist is typically designed for construction purposes to lift materials and personnel, it is not advisable to use it for demolition work. Demolition involves hazardous conditions with falling debris and unstable structures, which can compromise the safety and integrity of the hoist. Instead, specialized equipment like wrecking balls, hydraulic shears, and cranes are more suitable for demolition tasks. These are engineered to handle the heavy loads and unpredictable conditions associated with breaking down structures safely.</p>
- Q: This question asks for a guide on how to change the tightness of the ropes on a construction hoist.
- <p>Adjusting the tension on a building hoist involves several steps. First, ensure the hoist is powered off and secured to prevent any movement. Locate the rope tensioning mechanism, often found at the base or top of the hoist. This could be a ratchet system, a spring-loaded mechanism, or a manual adjustment bolt. For ratchet systems, adjust the tension by turning the ratchet handle to tighten or loosen the rope. For spring-loaded mechanisms, adjust the spring tension by turning the adjustment bolt. Ensure the rope is properly seated in the pulley system and not frayed or damaged. After adjusting, test the hoist with a small load to ensure the tension is appropriate and the hoist operates smoothly. Always refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.</p>
- Q: Does the building height not exceed 40 meters must install the construction elevator?
- There is an elevator quota in the budget quota, but how many floors can be priced?
- Q: This question asks for a comparison of various types of electric building hoists, highlighting their unique features and differences.
- <p>Electric building hoists come in various types, each designed for specific applications. The main differences lie in their capacity, lifting speed, control systems, and construction. For instance, worm gear hoists are compact and offer precise control, suitable for light to medium-duty applications. Chain hoists are versatile with higher speeds and are ideal for general lifting tasks. Electric wire rope hoists are powerful and designed for heavy-duty lifting, often used in construction and industrial settings. Variable frequency drives in hoists allow for speed control, enhancing safety and efficiency. Each type has its operational advantages and limitations, making the choice dependent on the specific lifting requirements and environmental conditions.</p>
- Q: This question asks for a comparison of the benefits and drawbacks of utilizing hydraulic fluids in lifting machinery.
- <p>The advantages of using hydraulic fluids in lifting equipment include their ability to transmit power efficiently, provide smooth and controlled movements, and absorb shock and vibration. They also have a high power-to-weight ratio, which is beneficial for lifting heavy loads. Additionally, hydraulic systems are relatively simple to maintain and can operate in a wide range of temperatures. Disadvantages include the potential for leaks, which can be hazardous and costly, and the need for regular maintenance to prevent system failure. Hydraulic fluids can also be environmentally harmful if not disposed of properly, and they may require specific storage conditions to prevent degradation.</p>
- Q: This question inquires whether a building hoist can be utilized in both indoor and outdoor environments, particularly in areas with limited space.
- <p>Yes, building hoists can be used both indoors and outdoors, but their suitability depends on the specific model and design. Some hoists are specifically engineered for indoor use due to their compact size and lower weight capacity, while others are designed for outdoor use and can handle heavier loads. In limited spaces, it's crucial to select a hoist with a small footprint and high lifting capacity relative to its size. Always ensure that the hoist meets the required safety standards and is operated by trained personnel to prevent accidents in confined spaces.</p>
- Q: Is it possible to utilize a building hoist to lift objects with varying dimensions and weights?
- <p>Yes, building hoists are designed to lift a variety of objects with different sizes and weights. However, each hoist has specific weight and size limitations that must be adhered to for safety and operational reasons. It's crucial to ensure that the objects being lifted are within the hoist's capacity to prevent accidents and damage. Always consult the manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelines before using a hoist for lifting operations.</p>
- Q: This question asks if building hoists can be utilized for extended periods of time in construction projects.
- <p>Building hoists are generally designed for temporary use in construction projects, facilitating the movement of materials and personnel. They are not intended for long-term operations. Their design and safety features cater to the specific needs of construction phases, which are temporary by nature. For permanent installations or long-term material handling, other types of elevators or lifts are more suitable. It is crucial to adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines and local regulations regarding the use and duration of operation for building hoists to ensure safety and compliance.</p>
- Q: Explain the key differences between electric and pneumatic lifting equipment in a few sentences.
- <p>Electric lifting equipment is powered by electricity and offers precise control, high efficiency, and is suitable for heavy-duty applications. Pneumatic lifting equipment, on the other hand, is powered by compressed air and is known for its simplicity, safety, and lower cost. It is often used in environments where electrical equipment might be hazardous, such as in the presence of flammable gases or dust. Electric systems can handle heavier loads and provide more precise control, while pneumatic systems are more resistant to overload and offer a fail-safe mechanism in case of air pressure loss.</p>
- Q: This question asks for guidelines on how to take care of lifting equipment after it has been used.
- <p>To maintain your lifting equipment after use, follow these steps: 1. Clean the equipment thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and any debris. 2. Inspect all components for wear, damage, or signs of excessive use. 3. Lubricate moving parts as per the manufacturer's recommendations. 4. Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and fasteners to ensure they are secure. 5. Store the equipment in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated area to prevent rust and corrosion. 6. Regularly review the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and perform any required servicing. 7. Keep a log of all maintenance and inspections to ensure you're staying on top of equipment care. Proper maintenance not only prolongs the life of your equipment but also ensures safety during use.</p>
