Q: what is the additive inverse of 18xy?
The additive inverse is that term which when added to the original term equals zero. -18xy .
Q: find a number which is nine less than twice the additive inverse?
Let's call the number x. The additive inverse is by definition, -x (because x + -x 0). This leads us to the following equation: x + 9 -2x which will give us x -3.
Q: I am the person with the 1994 toyot pick up that has (had) heating problems.I found out what the problem was.The shop that I let replace the radiator, sold me/ installed a POS "cheapy" radiator.I found a significant leak / separated weld around the tops inlet. They replaced the POS radiator with a CFS radiator. It is obvious (by simply looking at it) that this radiator is a MUCH BETTER built radiator.I would still like it to run a little cooler.Does anybody know of anyone that has ever used a coolant additive? Do they really make a dofference? I am planning on running water wetter with a 25-30 to 70-75 mixture of anti-freeze to water, and then add water wetter?Does anybody know if this will make a significant difference driving across AZ and NM during the end of october?

Q: Are women organic, or do they have artificial additives?
My shop won't put tires on the rims if they are over 3 years old.
Q: My 2002 E39 never burned any oil. All of a sudden it is starting to use 1 quart every 2 to 3 thousand miles. I dont see any drips so I am surmising it is burning it. A few days ago when I started the car a large cloud of smoke came out of the exhaust. I wiped the exhaust with my finger and it was oily. It only did this once but it seems coincidental. The car has 103,000 miles and is a Salvage Title so I don‘t want to throw a bunch of money in it. Is there an additive or perhaps another suggestion as to what I might check or do?
one quart every 2 to 3 K miles isn't much, that's within spec on a newer car. That's at most 1 quart between oil changes If the only time you see smoke is when you start it, it's probably getting through the valve seals. you could try one of those additives that help seals, sometimes they work, sometimes not. As long as your not leaving a blue cloud behind wherever you go, I would just check the oil regularly and add when needed.
Q: lucas oil additive?
Lisa, As a last resort. I used Lucas transmission additive and it fixed a slight shifting problem. I am still driving that car with lucas in the tranny. The additive was a last resort, as I had a replacement. If I did use an oil additive, I would add it, run 1000 miles, do an oil change. Use factory recommended oil grade and see if that makes a difference
Q: what are three reasons for using fillers or additives ?
I guess if someone converted the car from front to all wheel drive this could be possible. I have yet to see that yet, at least one person here knew that. So assuming it was made into an all wheel drive, if it's clicking replace the axle, if it's not then replace the boot.
Q: Polo1.4MT 4W recently wanted to use some gasoline additives to clean the fuel injector inside the combustion chamber, I saw several, red line sl-1 3M fresh cool 4 in one, the German force magic (fuel injector cleaning agent + burning Room cleaning agent), in addition to cleaning the throttle 3M 8866 and the power of the lion 60807 everyone to give a detailed comparison, you used what? Or there is no better recommendation Thank you friends
Polo's words so far three kinds of additives are more common, one is the original public G17, one is BASF's happy run, there is a red line. You said 3M, because 3M is not specialized in the field of cars, it will not be better than BASF and red line performance.
Q: If so what‘s the name of the brand?
There are state-through-state place of work regulations that regulate smoking, so which you will could desire to learn with your state. i think extremely risk-free to assert that this is in all probability unlawful to smoke interior the area of work, whether that place is Phillip Morris. that's a public business enterprise it quite is ruled through state and federal regulations, comparable through fact the rest people. wish that enables :)
Q: I believe my 1984 Mercedes 500SEL‘s trans pan gasket and torque converter are leaking trans fluid, at about a quart a week. I plan on replacing the pan gasket, which should take care of some of the leak, but it‘s too expensive to get the whole transmission resealed, and I think it‘s leaking in other places, like the torque converter. If I use either the lucas or trans-x additive, will they fix all the leaks, including the pan gasket, and how well will that work? Or should I replace the pan gasket, then use the additives for the seal leaks in the other places? Is the additive fix permanent, or will problems (possibly worse) arise later on? Thanks.
